We are elated that the board of Air Liberte has decided to accept our offer to begin a formal supplier agreement. After reading your response we feel it necessary to point out that the proposed 60/40 split would be implemented in favour of Air Liberte rather than CuppaCoffee, this policy helps us generate a modest profit while also making these agreements financially viable for the companies we do business with. In light of this new information, we would fully understand if you choose to re-adopt the proposed profit split. Otherwise we would be happy to go ahead with your proposal to split profits made on long-haul flights equally.

Regarding the sale of CuppaCoffee profits on Air Liberte short-haul services, the profit split outlined above would still apply with your company receiving the larger share of profits made. On a final note we understand and accept all of your various sales policies outlined in your response, acknowledging that these often differ greatly between airlines. The board apologises that the profit split was not explained in more detail, we would never demand a majority share.

Considering the changed circumstances the BoD has decided to take an unconventional route in these conditions. You will be elated to know that it has been decided to offer you the choice. AL is ready to accept any of the two choices - the original 60/40 split or the 50/50 split that your esteemed firm may select. While this may sound queer considering the prevailing competitive environment, it is a token of our good will and appreciation by the virtue of which this choice has been offered.
