The HBH-383
The HBH-383 is an attack helicopter capable of evading multiple heat seeking missiles and unguided rockets effectively and being able to hit the enemy hard with a variety of weapons systems. It has a crew of two people. One is the pilot and the other operates all of the computers and weapons systems.
The HBH-383 program was started when it was noticed that Wirbel's attack helicopters where out dated (and that Heinrich himself wanted a new toy). Eventually Heinrich put down seven hundred fifty million dollars for the project (750,000,000). After four years of R&D, the helicopter was ready to be manufactured. Now, it is avaliable on the international market.

HBHEEN195K
The HBHEEN195K is a the powerful jet engine that powers the HBH-383 helicopter it is based off of the engines used on the HF-09.
A unique feature included in the HBHEEN195K is the heat scattering device. This device, on the end of the engine causes the hot exhaust to fly in all different directions, making it hard for heat seeking missiles to follow the HBH-383.
Avionics and Targeting Systems
"Can't shoot it if you can't see it!"
The HBH-383 would never be complete without its advanced avionics and super accurate targeting systems. It wouldn't even work correctly. It wouldn't even have value on the battlefield.
The HBH-383 has two crew members for a reason. You might think "that's an out dated idea! A computer should replace all that!" Well, if you have two crew members, the pilot has less to look at. If you have a pilot who focuses on flying rather than anything else, he will be a better pilot- it's just like texting and driving! So, to keep the pilot focused on flying and only flying, there is a second crew member who controls all the weapons systems. The second crewmember (the gunner) can shoot the enemy and focus on shooting the enemy while the pilot can focus on flying.
To allow for the pilot and gunner to do their job with ease, the enginners at HB have included an extremely fast computer to calculate and display all of the information that the pilot needs. This computer then places things that are needed to be monitored at all times on the Heads Up Display and other information that does not need to be monitored constantly on the computer screen. This way, clutter can be avoided on the HUD and all information can be displayed. The pilot can also tell the computer what and what not to display on the HUD.
Spraying bullets at the enemy can be a waste of money and might get you killed. Many bullets are wasted, the enemy is usually left unharmed, and the enemy has a chance to kill you. To solve this problem, HB has put a sophisticated target system into the HBH-383. First, there is the radar, which can detect large objects and tell you how large they are, how far away they are, and how fast they are going. This is a basic instrument included in most military aircraft. To make the
HBH-383 a better attack helicopter, a turret like ball has been added under the cockpit but in front of the 17.78mm Autocannon. This ball can see in infrared and visible wavelengths, can fire lasers to determine information like atmospheric conditions and range, and can recognize images (from intelligence). This targeting system gives the gunner an accurate reticle on their computer screen. The pilot can also switch the targeting to their HUD, but they can only use what they see and the reticle- not infrared.
Countermeasures
Like any air combat vehicle, the HBH-383 has flare and chaff dispensers. But what makes the HBH-383 special is it's other countermeasures not included on most other attack helicopters.
The HBH-383's flare and chaff dispensers can move in almost any direction, to launcher the flares/chaff in a direction that confuses the enemy missile the most. If a flare is launched straight in front of an enemy missile's seeker head, then the missile will likely go dumb.
The HBH-383 also has radar absorbent material on it's skin, making it harder to detect. Like mentioned in the engines section, the HBH-383 scatters its engine heat to make it even harder for a missile to find its target.
Armaments
Note: As time progresses, we will add more weapons that can be put on the HBH-383, including different kinds of missiles, bombs, and guns. If you have a weapon that you wish to be configured for use on the HBH-383, send us that weapon and we will make a mount for it.
