What is Viridian Inc?
Viridian is the first word in renewable energy. Founded in 1975 in New Buckingham, Tulija, Viridian is an international corporation and think tank devoted to finding new and innovative ways to live and work in a renewable world. History
Viridian Energy started in 1975 as a new Ethanol producer with some (at the time) unique ideas about preserving the environment. Hailing from New Buckingham, Tulija, we know what it's like to have responsibility for nature around us. Tulija has over 65% of the Amazon Rainforest within it's borders! From day one, we wanted to set a trend a company who looked and this and thought; rather than exploit, let's work with it. By 1982, we had a 30% market share in the growing Ethanol market, and were pioneering new fuel cells for green cars in the 90s. As an investor, we've been assisting in the refinement of nuclear energy and are one of the most vocal supporters of fusion.

In 2004, we declared our factories and offices 'Carbon Neutral' and haven't looked back. We're a major sponsor of conservation efforts and successfully lobbied to block the Timber industry from flattening thousands of miles of rainforest in the famous court case Viridian Inc. vs Talbot Industries, in 2010. Today, we're looking for new investors with an eye for profit, and a hunger to change the world rather than be changed by it. For the better.

Services
We provide extensive services and are looking to expand further. As investors in other businesses, we've helped launch some of the most recognizable energy providers around the world. The world's largest hydroelectric plant at Scorpio Heights, South Tulija was financed (especially it's focus on minimal environmental damage) by us in partnership with Tulijan National Energy.

We provide green landscaping, carbon minimisation, carbon footprint analysis and installation of renewable energy sources or generators for your home/office/factory. If your government or business is looking to go carbon neutral, we're the place for you. Full list and comprehensive prices can be found in the 'Orders' section (use Order Form for purchases).

Green Landscaping: Carbon Neutral construction or expansion of structures; contracted through us and overseen by our special inspectors. $15,000 within our 'Home' criteria (dependant on size of expansion / treated as additional cost on construction of new home), $25,000 for 'Office' criteria, and usually $45,000 for 'Factory' criteria. All costs are negotiable dependant on size, length and audacity of project, etc.
Carbon Minimisation: A full inspection and thorough analysis and report = $500+ depending on size of property. We stock several items designed to decrease your economic and ecological problems e.g. energy saving boilers, rainwater flushing toilets, etc. In order to fully convert your property, an inspection is first required but usually falls well within the $1000 - $9000 bracket.
Solar Panel / Wind Turbine / Fuel Cell Installation: Installation of any of these sources as well as included generator for conversion. Solar Panel = $300. Wind Turbine = $400. Fuel Cell $500. Geothermal Spring $600. For multiple orders please state how many you want e.g. for a factory 10 fuel cells may be advisable.
National Services - Construction of Viridian Power Plants: For the discerning head of state, we will construct a Viridian power plant of your choice to meet your people's needs. Options are extensive - Hydroelectric, Wind, Sea, Solar, Nuclear, Ethanol, Geothermal. R&D centres are also available for sale. Full details in 'Orders' section.

Products
We stock a wide range of green products. By far our most common is Ethanol, produced from Tulija's sugar cane crop = price is a very reasonable $150 per barrel. We have an extensive range of smaller products for the individual buyer, as well as having 10% of all profits from individual or bulk product sales going to a charity of the buyers choice (leave details in 'Additional Information' section of Order Form).

We stock several Tulijan Car Models converted to run on both Ethanol and Hydrogen Fuel cells. In partnership with this we also stock the facilities for construction of Ethanol pumps and stations, as well as Hydrogen pumps. Prices in 'Order' section.

Regarding future sources of energy to replace dwindling crude oil supplies

Dear Sir,

The Exchequer of the Dangish Empire is acutely aware that crude oil is a non-renewable resource, and shall run out soon. For decades, the Dangish Empire has had plenty of oil in the colonies, but even those sources are dwindling. Oil prices have risen to above £50 a barrel, roughly $114 in universal standard currency; this is not a state of affairs that Her Majesty's Government wishes to continue.

The Empire uses crude oil for two main things: fuel for power stations and fuel for cars. We are already weaning off the Empire from oil sources onto nuclear sources. However, we wish to expand into the fusion sector. We would like to order a fusion R&D plant. Fuel for cars needs to be changed. We want hydrogen powering our cars. Viridian is invited, along with other companies of a similar nature, to capitalise on the demand for Hydrogen fuel. By 2020, petrol and diesel only cars will be banned in the Empire, and all cars must be at least part hydrogen based.

Hence, although Her Majesty's Government shall not order any pumps or any barrels of the stuff, we invite you to set up some offices in New London, with a grant of $100 million, and get the Empire hooked on hydrogen.
