In a Volatile world of new and advanced nuclear weapons, many nations feel unable to compete with the huge stockpiles of nuclear weapons many countries own, and the increasing threat they pose. While many feel the need to abolish nuclear weapons, they provide a useful deterrent against those that wish to use them for destructive purposes. And so, BlackLight Military Systems is proud to introduce the XR-385 Thermonuclear MIRV missile...
It contains 6 highly explosive 25 megaton warheads utilising Uranium 236 Isotope contained in a casing of Lithium Triteride. When the Warhead is detonated, Gamma Ray radiation and the casing compresses into a super dense mass, multiplying the nuclear yield 100s of times. Therefore, a warhead of 25 megatons can reach over 2500megatons, or if utilised as one missile, one petaton.*
The Missile has a maximum range of 12,000km, and at speeds up to Mach 3.8. This is thanks to Its Hydrogen compressing Engine, which use Hydrogen in place of conventional fossil fuels. The Missile can be remotely launched, can be launched from ground silos, aircraft, surface vessels and submarines.
The Missile is 25feet long, and 3 feet wide. Canard wingspan is 14feet, (these are folded into the side of the missile during launch)
*(Petaton = 1,000,000,000 tons of TNT)
Individual Unit Costs for the Missiles are as follows...
R-385 Type A - Ground launched (Missile Silo) - $14,000,000 USD
