Who are we?
Blacklight was formed in New Phyrreus in 1984, when the need for private security rose dramatically after a series of terrorist attacks and bank robberies. Thus, a coalition of leading ex-special forces operatives founded BlackLight security. BlackLight is a huge Private Military Company with reaches across the globe. While clandestine and secretive, we consist of over 2Million trained personnel, each having significant and trained military backgrounds, who work in our many cells and operation centres. They safely monitor activities across the world, assuring rapid response where needed and safe co-operation with local military. The back-bone of our organisation, is the 1.2million people we have in our Military divisions. Each man is well equipped, well paid, and is professional and quality to a highly trained standard. Each man is equipped with state of the art equipment, body armour and weapons, and is experienced in a variety of combat roles. From hostage situations, to CASEVAC and NBC operations, you can rely on swift response from our team.
Military Operations
With a PMC of Blacklights size, we can safely deploy divisions of 20,000 men and tanks to anywhere on the globe, thanks to the four seperate carrier task groups we operate. On average, one of these huge formations can reach you in under 48 hours, and advance forces can be deployed in under 12. Each carrier group consists of one Daedalus class aircraft carrier, (decommisioned and sold on after stand down), as well as two amphibious carriers, 12 cruisers and destroyers, and many more support ships and amphibious craft. We also legally operate a fleet of 23 nuclear submarines, each one with a full complement of nuclear warheads (as specified by the Stockholm Conference on the size and nuclear capability of PMCs). Our air fleet contains over 200 sold-on F-35s and F-22 raptors, B-52s and F-111s, each one operating from localised air bases. As well as our huge force of AFV's, tanks and troop carriers supporting our soldiers on the ground.
Patents and Licensing
As ordered by the Stockholm Treaty of 1976, we at Blacklight are protected by US licensing and Observation acts, and have over 250 patents to protect our industry. All of our military equipment is certified use for military operations, and all of our troops are fully authorised for use on the field.
Special Ops and Intelligence Cells
Much of our materiel goes toward our intelligence wing, which handles in case-sensitive information and espionage. Highly trained operatives can be deployed to gather highly secretive information in enemy governments. Each of our agents is experienced in deep cover operations, with agents from SAS, MI6, CIA, GIGN, GR9, and Mosad. Under failsafe protocols, should one of our agents be compromised, he has at least three separate locations for exfil, and superinjunctions and ruses can be implemented to ensure the blame does not pass to your government. Should these fail, the agent is trained to resist interrogation and will deny all involvement as a client of yours.
