Hello once again. Kassa Defence Corporation has once again delivered unto us the pinnacle of armoured warfare. The Mk.76 "Grizzly" Main battle Tank provides the ultimate in crew protection and firepower.
Its weaponry consists of a rifled L1120 120mm Main gun, capable of piercing tank armour at distances well exceeding 2500m. It works by magnetically attracting the ferrous shell to small magnetic rings on the gun. As one ring attracts the shell, the other switches off, meaning that the projectile is accelerated far beyond normal limits. the shell it fires is a hollow-pointed Iron APDS, and it stores 48 on board. It also comes with 2x0.5Cal Electronically controlled Machine guns for personal defence, as well as smoke launchers and flares.
Its armour is state of the art, depleted Uranium and Tungsten/Titanium reinforced plates combined with a Faraday Mesh create a very durable piece of armour, capable of withstanding concentrated RPG fire, as well as hold out for long periods against modern anti tank warfare. It also contains a layer of highly strengthened ballistic gel, which suppresses the stream of molten metal and discarding sabot rounds fired by most AP shells. The armour is can also resist incredibly high doses of Radiation, and all chemical and biological weapons, with its fully refurbished NBC suite. The armour is also fitted with a cooling system, which prevents detection by IR sensors, and discreetly vents heat on the underside of the tank. The "belly" of the tank is curved, helping deflect AT and IED mines. Small photon lasers are placed around the tank, capable of tracking RPGs and missile heading toward the tank, and destroying them at a safe range.
The Power plant of this beast is a 24cylinder Hydrogen Injected accelerator engine, powering 18 electric motors which in turn provide power to the tracks and electrical equipment. It is also outfitted with a Graf/Hauptmann Solar/Saline Actuator, which can turn any water into Hydrogen on the fly. If the engine is hit or damaged, two backup generators are outfitted to help restart the engine if needed or power the tank to the nearest repair depot.
Inside the tank, the Crew of 4 (Gunner, Commander, Driver, Loader) communicate using the CROSSCOM system, and are each armed with a small M6J Pistol. The tank is outfitted with the latest range finding equipment, utilizing laser triangulation techniques to calculate a precise distance to the target. The Guns targeting computer also communicates with CENTCOM and Realtime updates to provide precise environmental conditions and latest orders, and detecting whether the environment outside is potentially toxic. It also uses thermal imaging, and is also able to pick up light arrays outside the visible spectrum, detecting radiation and the latest in laser weaponry.
