History
Degesch was established by our founder, Maximilian Freiherr von Oster, in 1883, at a time where the German chemical industry was in full swing and rapidly expanding. The company had initially begun producing cheap, safe and easy-to-use pesticides and insecticides to local farmers before expanding it's field of activity into fumigation, rodenticides and monitoring. Degesch soon overtook it's competitors to dominate the German chemical market by the beginning of the 20th Century
In the early 20th Century, the Company underwent a massive and expansive rate of growth, establishing branches throughout all of Germany. The First World War however, led to an initial decline in growth and profits but Degesch soon recovered and managed to recover it's prime position as the dominant chemical company of it's time. Again, the Company underwent a stage of decline in the wake of the Great Depression but soon recovered under the reign of the Nazi Party. The brief recovery was short-lived as the Second World War resulted in the near destruction and bankruptcy of Degesch. Nevertheless, the Company, which had relocated it's headquarters from Chemnitz to the Ruhr Valley to escape the approaching Red Army, soon recovered under a new Chief Executive Officer, Alfred von Wittgenstein and soon prospered immensely as part of the West German economic miracle.
Since then, successive CEOs of Degesch have managed to maintain the Company's high standards of quality products and customer satisfaction. At the start of the new millennium, then-Chief Executive Officer Hans Luttwitz retired on the grounds of failing health and was succeeded by his deputy August von Heissmeyer, who had joined Degesch in 1984. One of Von Heissmeyer's first decisions was to relocate Degesch's headquarters back to Chemnitz after Germany was formally reunited where it still stands today.
With Von Heissmeyer as the current CEO of Degesch GmBH, the company has been able to retain it's dominance of the GAR's chemical market and is poised to expand onto the international stage

How Does It Work?
Aside from regular purchases of Degesch's products which need not require an application form, we have included three application forms within our storefront to cater to the various requests and demands from our consumers from all walks of life, be they sovereign nations or private corporations. And these three are:
Application for opening of branches within a nation: This application form is for nations who wish to allow Degesch GmBH to expand into their own local pest-control and chemical markets. Countries which choose to do so will have to indicate their economic system so as to allow Degesch to better coordinate it's economic activities within said nation and to be more aware of the country's economic laws (if any). Upon establishing a branch, a certain percentage of profit from that branch shall go to the nation where the branch is located.
Application for contracting of services for companies: Companies which wish to carry out various pest-control activities such as fumigation may select this form in which they will fill out the details of the service they desire and it's duration. Degesch will calculate the final payment to be extracted from these companies.
Application for contracting of services for nations: Nations who seek Degesch's services in fuimgation and whatnot may select this form and fill in the relevant details. Just like the application form for companies, the total payment for using Degesch's services will be decided by Degesch.
