OUR HISTORY
Cymea Communications, Inc. was established in 1962 with the goal of bringing fast, reliable communication to every corner of the Emirate of Tarmeca. It quickly grew to be the leader in telecommunications in Tarmeca. In 1991 it changed its name to CymComm, Inc. In 1998 it launched a high speed internet system. In 2002 it bought out longtime competitor FoneTec in a multimillion dollar deal. In 2008 CymComm was commissioned by the Emirate of Tarmeca to create a broadband network that would allow internet access to anyone anywhere in the nation.
OUR MISSION
CymComm's mission since its inception in 1962 has been to bring people together. As companies and nations have become more interdependent in the world economy, it is all the more important to be connected. We seek to connect you the world. OUR NETWORK
Our expansive telecommunications network utilizes a technology called CC-DS, a type of wireless communications that allows more advanced capabilities and services.
• Security – CC-DS provides excellent security. The layered security includes authentication, encryption and monitoring to minimize fraud. The digitally encoded transmissions (DETs) passing through our network are protected by 4.1 trillion different combinations of code to deter cloning, eavesdropping, and other fraud.
• High Bandwidth – CC-DS is designed with packed data in mind, so its bandwidth far surpasses that of other systems. A typical CC-DS data download averages between 700 to 1,450 KiloBytes/second. That is speed.
• Faster Round-Trips – CC-DS slashes the time down to 150 milliseconds for data to travel round-trip between the mobile device and the network provider.
• Interoperability – CC-DS is supported by multitudes of devices from most of the top manufacturers, including the Xzaerom Institute and Titan Wireless. That diverse system means your company is more interoperable with other companies and stakeholders. It allows you to better utilize your technology investments.
• More Efficient – CC-DS is very efficient. We can support more of your company’s users in each of our cell site sectors with CC-DS. You get a much more efficient use of linked resources and better network capabilities.
• Quality of Service – Our quality of service is constantly monitored so that the consumer is always satisfied. We are able to differentiate services based on your company's needs, making it easier to support applications like media streaming and our unique TouchTalk service, or ensure reliable data sessions.
