"My motherland, I will never leave you, and with your gift, the airplane, we'll never be lost, since this glorious motherland is with us!" - Syvorjin local

Our History

Humble Beginnings

In 1974, after seeing many international airlines compete for supremacy, Syvorji realized that they needed an airline. A government authority, called the Syvorjin Airline Transport Authority (SATA) was set up, to operate the new Syvorjin Airlines, and opened travel with Southern Cyenophali, with the first flight, SYA Flight 1 taking off from the Syvori International Airport (today called the Syvori-Penghua International Airport), to head to Southern Cyenophali. Within a few years, it grew it's destinations to many countries, and that by 1980, it had a stable fleet.

Modern Day

In 1989, the SATA dissolved itself, and transferred responsibility of the Syvorjin Airlines to the workers, making it publicly owned, directly by the employees, meaning a Council was formed. Today, it's destinations are vast, and far-reaching, and with a stable fleet, the Syvorjin Airlines will continue to thrive, no matter what.

Onboard Service

Here, on board the Syvorjin Airlines, we are usually in the top 10 airlines in the world, and now, you will see why the critics are praising our finest services!

Cuisine

Syvorjin Airlines has some of the country's best chefs, and with their talent, they are able to produce a lot of food, from Maedok (OOC: like pizza, but fruits and veggies, jam instead of pizza sauce, and no crust), to our healthy hamburgers, with lettuce on them. How about this in Third Class? Yes, we serve them on delicate porcelain plates in Second Class and First Class. In First Class, you have a lot more options, including lounges for a nibble on long-haul flights. We even have selections from our well-known AtmoGourmet, including special meals if you order in advance.

Security

While we treat security as a priority, inside Syvorji, we have only CCTV cameras, baggage scanners, thermal body scanners, and X-ray scanners, and none of the intrusive crap. However, any weapons are banned, and if one tries to go on our airline with a weapon, the next they know, they are kicked out. On all flights, we carry 2 Airline Marshals, which are the only ones that carry weapons, which in this case, is tasers, to tase passengers that pose a security threat, or are unruly. If they continue to do so, they will be asked to leave the plane while both Airline Marshals escort said passenger out. We have on-house doctors, with all the modern equipment, to treat most kinds of disease. For the cockpit, it is locked, and they have to solve a combination, just to get in (example: 35030) said cockpit.

Safety

Every flight, we are dedicated to inspection, and we always go on a rigourous inspection, to make sure they are airworthy. If anything is broken, yet easy to fix, an air marshal will fix it, but if it is a major issue, it is grounded until it can be fixed. Our pilots are trained for 10 years in simulators, and just in case, our crew is also trained, for 5 years in simulators, or if they are experienced if transferred from another airline.

Frequent Flyer Programs

Unlike many airlines, we are lucky to have two Frequent Flyer Programs.

Chyungse Khagali

The oldest Frequent Flyer club, it was created in 1988, and since then, people have enjoyed the benefits of a card, which are divided into 3 membership levels, Dzong, Monk and Priest, with many advantages. The clubs of Chyungse Khagali look more like a living room inside a house at Thimphu, and serve you milk, coffee, water, Coca-Cola and Pepsi, as well as in terms of food, maedok, chocolates, pizza, and rice, just to name a few. If you are in Priest level, there is a private gate, for you to use (varies by location).

Club Magpie

The newest Frequent Flyer Club, it was created in 2007, to relieve requests for a Frequent Flyer Card, meaning that is divided into three levels, Third Class, Second Class, and First Class. The clubs of Club Magpie look a lot like a modern community center and has a lot of activities, from a cafe, to a playground. On Second Class and First Class, there is a private gate, and even Club Magpie blends in with a very modern air terminal, to such a point it could not be considered as a club, but rather, a main part of the terminal, so much that anyone can actually enter a room of Club Magpie, and not get caught.

Entertainment

On all Syvorjin Airlines Flights, we provide you an English version of the Syvori Times. As well, on most planes, we have AtmoVideo On Demand (AOD, or AvOD), showing whatever movie you want, from anywhere you wish (except breakaway Szenoshal from Syvorji). We also offer travel magazines to where you are flying to, and we have an entertainment guide, called "Cholima," to provide the latest news in entertainment.

Duty Free Shopping

During our flight, the AtmoShop will provide with many duty-free objects, ranging from chocolates, to wine, models of planes, books, cell phones, films and games. In other words, anything you want, even used underwear and diapers can be found, if you look hard enough!

Cabin Crew
Image

Also known as the "AtmoBoys," they share our experiences, with passengers, know the issue, and are very popular amongst our passengers. They also care for our people, and are very polite, and patient.

To divide the ranks, the jacket is used as a reference.

Black - Assistants
Blue - Servers
White - In-flight supervisor
Gold - Air Marshal

Miscellaneous

Regional Information

Since Syvorjin Airlines is also a regional firm, it also provides services within Syvorji, and back, no matter what, including Thimphu, Thessens, Gyompa, Yerevan, and Islamabad, just to name a few.

We accept, and both can go in. If there is only one, then perhaps Chyungse Khagali, will bring one. Effective immediately, Syvorjin Airlines Flight 319 from Syvori to Ostameva would begin.

We are sorry, but the Tu-114, nor the Concorde fit our noise regulations, and, as they are not being used only as government transport, they will not be able to obtain a waiver to be exempt from the regulations. Please choose another aircraft.
