Uxleybridge University Enrolment Program

Hello, everyone. The enrolment season is fast approaching for Uxleybridge University in Beinai. In September, we applied for the World University Society. We are happy to confirm that Uxleybridge was accepted. This means that we can now take in students from other countries. Degrees from WUS Universities are recognised internationally and bear a slight advantage as WUS is only for the very top end of global universities. We have even had just under 20,000 extra 2-bed apartments and 982 new fraternity houses to accommodate for this program.
So, why send students to Beinai? Beinai already has free university education. In addition, WUS provides extra funding alongside the government. This means that the universities steadily grow and supplies are of a higher standard. In addition, as mentioned before, WUS degrees are regarded as better than plain government/ independent university degrees. The university really does accommodate for the needs of the students.
Please read through our Ethos, Prospectus and Uxleybridge City Guide to gain a further developed understanding of why we’re so good!

Ethos

Postby Beinai » Tue May 10, 2011 1:52 pm

Ethos

At Uxleybridge University, our professors go out of their way to meet the needs of our students whom we dedicate the university to. Our motto is ‘Yei aart ei Binar’. That means ‘The heart of Beinai’. Of course, we speak figuratively when we say this. Uxleybridge University is the oldest and best in Beinai. Much of Uxleybridge’s alumni consist of people who have defined life and law in Beinai.
We do not enforce a hierarchy which makes the student powerless against professors. Students are treated like equals. We have a zero- tolerance policy on bullying, racism, xenophobia and homophobia. However, the policy is rarely brought up, due to the tolerance of these bright individuals. Students are encouraged to be themselves and only try their best. We believe that these strategies bring the best out of a person. Not just academically, but also socially.
The reason why Uxleybridge University joined WUS, was to help those who couldn’t get a place in their own country. It also means that these applicants from abroad are encouraged to ask themselves whether they would like to stay working in the nation and apply for citizenship, or return home.

Societies
Uxleybridge is home to over 100 societies. The most popular is The Debating Society and The Student Council. There are societies which are political, art- oriented, sporty etc. There’s guaranteed to be a society for you. If not, you can start one!
Image

University Campus
The campus is a leafy utopia. It is made up of accommodation, parks and gardens as well as small independent shops. Most students enjoy drinking a cappuccino at one of the arty cafes or reciting their poems at Speakers’ Corner.
The campus is kept clean by the students. Any litter dropped is picked up by a voluntary service run by the students. You can park outside of your accommodation and all students have access to the 52 campus launderettes. Public toilets are dotted around.
The libraries have been rebuilt to accommodate for a modern study centre. Within these libraries are conference rooms. Of course, students need some leisure. This is why there are bars and arcades along Main Street.
Of course, you can travel further afield when you have time.

Uxleybridge City Guide

Uxleybridge City Guide

Uxleybridge is a large, leafy city with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and hosts an array of beautiful architecture old and new. It has parks and open space everywhere. Small businesses love the city as the city opposes large superstores moving in. Uxleybridge has won the Beinai Bloom Award every year since 1987.
The citizens give the mayor the thumbs up and the people are among the happiest in Beinai. It has the lowest metropolitan crime rate as well as the highest life expectancy age. The streets are generally safe due to careful zoning of the roads. It is favoured by Beinai Fishermans' Society due to the clean river alongside. Schools have very good results and the city, although not being the most populated, is now setting examples for all mayors and councils nationwide.

ACCEPTED. Under the scheme which Uxleybridge falls into, sponsors from around the world fund the travel of students. The government and the global scheme fund all housing and education costs. This is why this is a great scheme. It has proven to be a success and offers gargantuan corporations the chance to pay the success back to the public education system.
Since the degrees are internationally recognised, it's a win win situation.

To the DoC,

We have requested the desired action from the World University Society. For the wanted course, WUS will allow this course to be opened up. However, it will be open to all students. The WUS recognises the DoC as a great establishment and would like to offer this course as a joint effort. Therefore, the DoC will be listed as exam moderators for the course. With this in place, you now have two options:
OPTION ONE:
The Department of Conservation only allows the joint effort degree to only be available to citizens of Robsonien. However, WUS regard this as a slightly risky route.
OPTION TWO:
All students on the course will also have their effort and attainment recognised under the DoC, meaning that they can apply for a job as part of the National Park project. This is a recommended action.

To Samuel Haehae,

Transportation needn't be a problem. Do you have a helipad or any flat area of land accessible to helicopters? If so, we will offer to transport students from these areas onto our aircraft carrier ship. We see this as the only viable way currently.
