OOC: typically what it is meant by MT is tech that currently exists IRL while MT+1 is everything that exists plus everything that's in development currently. It's interesting to have watched over the years a lot of the concepts become commonly used in real militaries. And so what was MT+1 when NS started is now largely MT. This storefront now sells mostly MT, some MT+1(which in my opinion is the default in NS) and some PMT but those items are marked as such if that is the case.

[[Sept 28, 2008 2:21AM]] Production of both the CAR-24 and FC-57 - in all variants - has been permanently discontinued. Existing stock and prototypes melted down for scrap. 6.62mm ammunition production has also been halted, stock to be sold at a 75% discount to the retail markets. The Tyradorain Navy and the Plaxtonian Navy have already ordered 12 each and Antarctica's initial order of 8 has already been filled.

But since the merger into Phoenix Dynamix it has ben put on the back burner for more high tech and advanced projects, most of the new direction was caused when the Tyrador air force stoped being involved and the Tyrador government took a more direct role. Now finnaly, ironicly, that the Tyrador army has more say we are going ahead with a revamped project to get the F-4B off the ground(UPDATE:F-4B (now known as F/B-4) is now on hold again for a joint project). It should be among our next few projects, an airborne aircraft carrier is also in the works but I can't tell you much about that

[[Aug 31, 2003 10:39 am ]]-> The first rigid airship to be produced by Phoenix Dynamix, under a directive from the Tyrador Army Air Force will be released no later then Thursday this week. It is hoped to mark a significant change in air combat tactics for the decades to come. Depending upon its success in actual combat with TPM or Tyrador forces, and the success of the sales a second airship (on the "drawing board") will be completed and released for export.
Any questions, except for specific dimensions armaments and speed etc, will be answered upon inquiry.

The idea is that it will towed by a trailer and then quickly launched if needed. It also will feature a collapsible construction so that it can be easily transported by a semi-truck, cargo-aircraft or even inside of a Chinook or similar sized helicopter. It will be named the AH-3 Viper
