I think it would be a smarter idea to open an apparel storefront so you can have a wider variety in case you want to expand in the future, but also retain a section for your sports team. Plus, sports brands like the Yankees and Real Madrid get apparel companies like Adidas or Nike to produce merchandise with their branding.

I'd personally put the sponsorships on your team's jersey and make mention of them in NS Sports or wherever you roleplay the team. I don't necessarily think you need a whole thread to ask for sponsorships. Could post letters of interest to companies you want to be sponsored by or telegram their owners.

I compiled some of the list already, coded, and was going to restore it with a few others' helo. Unfortunately, I don't have time any more and some of those who wanted to relaunch have not come back to me, so if anyone wants to take that on, I have done some of it... otherwise, I may try to restore one for Feb 2015.

Which is what NS is. Most atolls would have been taken over by now.

I'd say a better idea is to go for improved long-range designs. For instance, going with a box-wing or over-wing engine design.

What you saw is proabably someone (likely new to the forum) not being entirely clear if they are speaking In Character (IC)or Out of Character (OOC).

OOCly (i.e. when speaking as yourself or about the actual rules regarding what you cna and can not on the forums as defined by the mod team) there isn't much that you can't post as being availble from your nation/organisation and attempt to sell to other players as long as the issue of sex is skirted and the contents are kept PG13 (12a roughly for the UK film classification), as such it is not against the forum rules to have a storefront selling Slaves.

ICly (i.e. when speaking from the poitn of veiw of your antion/organisation or as soemone in it) there is a lot of roleplayed international legislation against any kind of slave trade including various World Assembly (WA) resolutions but you are free to ignore this although it will likely result in becoming a target of one of the anti slavery nations or groups. Such attention doesn't have to mean anythign to you as there is no requirement for you to roleplay with anyone or about anyhting you don't want to. However on the other hand some might question what the point of playing a slaving nation and not fully accepting the IC consequences might be.

I hope this clears thigns up a bit but if i've only confused you further please don't hesitate to say.

Also, keep in mind copyright law. Don't make a business that is also an RL business, like I can't go and rename my arms storefront Lockheed Martin.

Yes, but depending on how similar you intend on making yours, you might want to contact Eslovakia, and see if he has any ideas so that your two storefronts are not total copies of each other.

Oh, no, there have been other nuclear power companies. Not even that much upset over them. I actually considered making one myself.

And if any nation tried to go to war for being anti-Nuclear, they'd rapidly have my religiously pro-nuclear nation bombing common sense into them. With JDAMs.

To be honest i doubt anyone would bat an eye lid at a nuclear power company as even the more green nations on NS tend to be fairly nuclear freindly. Even if someone was to be particulalry bothered they were creating and running the storefront as a responsible and mature company rather than "Hurr Durr i seelz the nuke plants cause i likes all of the chernobles!" will pretty much take any wind out of any complainer's sails.

For fonts, there are numerous free font resources on the internet. My favorite one is Dafont. All you need to do is install the font on your computer and you can use it on GIMP and other applications.

As for brushes, there aren't any particular sites I know of. But GIMP works with both Photoshop and GIMP-specific brushes, so I'd just Google free Photoshop or GIMP brushes and see what that gets you.
