Dear Sir,

We thank you for your interest in VLT Automotive. We are of course extremely interested in setting up business in Machina Haruspex. We hope to establish a local distributor ('VLT Machine Haruspex'), which will market VLT and VLT Commercial vehicles. Two subsidiaries, ('Monteluci di Machina Haruspex' and 'Lepanto Machine Haruspex') will be established to take care of sales of these two separate brands. These companies will all operate from the same office, but will each guide the distribution and sales systems of their respective brands. This office will also include a showroom ( 'Flagship store') for each of the brands, where all available models will be shown. This will also be the only Lepanto dealership in your nation.

As long as there is no production facility in your nation, regular shipments will be arriving from the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg (or any other nation with VLT production facilities, for that matter.), in order to deliver the ordered cars and restock the showrooms in your nation. Spare parts will be delivered by separate shipments. Shipping will be handled by VLT's usual partner company, Koopmans Transporten B.V., or any of their allied shipping companies.

We wish you the best of luck and hope for a fine cooperation between your government and VLT Automotive!

Signed,
Hans Schmidt
Director of Sales
VLT Automotive Group N.V.

The city of Chel'de Yorn is available for this distribution of vehicles. To keep cost down, we will arrange for the shipment of these vehicles to be at minor cost, a tax if you will of 1.2% to the sale. The rail line in question will thus be the Nimak Military transport rail from our main port of Perya where a good portion of our foreign trade arrives.

At a later date, perhaps more distributors can be arranged for the other city states that populate our territory, including the colony of Kaldana.

Dear VLT Automotive Group N.V.,
we at Ford Motor Company Britainaston would like to offer a joint-venture deal with you, in which your vehicles share a platform with ours, but are not rebadged Fords.
Our latest vehicle design is a sports coupe based on the platform of the Ford Escort MkIV, as seen below:
ImageImageImageImage

As part of this joint venture, your vehicle will be expected to share engines with our vehicle (although you may offer your own engines alongside our engines).
The as-yet-unnamed coupe will have the following engines:
1.8/4cyl, 1781cc 4-cylinder OC (overhead-cam)
2.0/4cyl, 1993cc 4-cylinder DOHC (double-overhead cam)

No diesel variants will be available, and this is a sporty family coupe that is competing against the Celsan Maruz ECZ coupe.

Should you require more information, we have it available if necessary.

(OOC: Unless you want me to make an offer for you to buy Ford Motor Company Britainaston, you're posting in the wrong thread. This should all be done on the storefront. I'm sorry to say though, that I think there is not an awful lot of chance, looking at the images supplied and the fact that the platform you are proposing is the Escort Mk 4, a design which is almost 30 years old. It is impossible to meet modern requirements and demands with a 30-year old platform. Next to that, you are proposing a vehicle segment for which I have already designed a model for in my model range: the VLT L4.)

Dear Sir/Madam,

We thank you for your interest in VLT Automotive. We are of course extremely interested in setting up business in Justorica. We hope to establish a local distributor ('VLT Justorica'), which will market VLT and VLT Commercial vehicles. Two subsidiaries, ('Monteluci di Justorica' and 'Lepanto Justorica') will be established to take care of sales of these two separate brands. These companies will all operate from the same office, but will each guide the distribution and sales systems of their respective brands. This office will also include a showroom ( 'Flagship store') for each of the brands, where all available models will be shown. This will also be the only Lepanto dealership in your nation.

VLT hopes to establish a single factory with a total capacity of 800,000 vehicles per year, employing some 50,000 indviduals. Production lines for the VLT L9 and L10 will be prepared for this factory. Currently, this is the only factory that will be constructed on Justorican soil.

We can confirm that 3 dealerships can be owned by a public company. The remaining 4 dealership positions will be handed out to private individuals by the local distributor. 2% of the profits of these 4 dealerships will be repaid to the Justorican government.

We are however not in a position to offer free military vehicles to any nation. We currently produce a military 4x4, the Monteluci M6, which is primarily in use with the Van Luxemburger Arméi. The sales of these vehicles are tightly regulated by the Ministry of Defence and the Van Luxemburger intelligence agency (IVD), and thus we cannot offer you any price cuts. They will need to be bought via the offices of Monteluci S.p.A. in Venezia, Van Luxemburg, and will be produced at the Monteluci facilities in the same city. As said before, export is regulated by the government of the Grand Duchy.

For models who are not produced in your nation, regular shipments will be arriving from the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg (or any other nation with VLT production facilities, for that matter.), in order to deliver the ordered cars and restock the showrooms in your nation. Spare parts will be delivered by separate shipments. Shipping will be handled by VLT's usual partner company, Koopmans Transporten B.V., or any of their allied shipping companies.

That is fine, we don't really need the military vehicles. I would encourage you to build 2 or 3 factories in Justorica. We will no be owning any VLT dealerships, when I said we owned three, I meant we owned 3 Justorican dealerships. Also, if you would like, I could provide staffing for the factories and dealerships. I could get 20,000 Justoricans per factory and maybe 5 Justoricans per dealership. I am not in anyway saying that you need help staffing, I am just hoping that you will open factory and dealership jobs to anyone, to help bring unemployment down.

Dear VLT Automotive Group N.V.,
we would like to have a 50-50 venture where you own 50% of Leicen - one of multiple automobile manufacturers owned by us. We will retain 50% of the shares, and technology is shared between the two.
With this agreement, we would like to share technology between your manufacturer and ours, and given that our nation is not far from yours, and is similar in culture/language etc., we feel an agreement would be prosperous for both sides.

This is not a takeover, but a partnership where both companies (Liegan Autos N.V. and VLT Automotive Group N.V.) can share technology and design. We have long admired some of your designs, like the L5, L6 and L9, plus the Monteluci brand, and feel that sharing technologies/platforms etc. would work.

More information is available on request.

The Commonwealth of Deketopia

Dear Miss Becker,

The Deketopian congress, after convening for the 99th time, have decided that they want to bring some class to the streets of Deketopia. For too long we have relied on Soviet-era sedans and jalopies to get around our fair nation. Therefore, we cordially invite you, VLT Automotive Group N.V., to establish a total of six dealerships around the country. We eagerly await a response, and we hope that you will accept our invitation.

Sincerely,

Hans Olsen,

MAG Completes Auto Sale to VLT

Workers and their families are breathing sighs of relief in Trademeet, Passchendale, and other communities across the Democratic Colonies the Marshal Anderson Group completes its sale of remaining automotive assets to VLT Automotive Group N.V. out of the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg. The 8 billion DCred sale has ensured the continued employment of over a hundred thousand employees, and transfers the distinguished Democratic Colonies Advanced Tire Company into VLT Automotive's hands.

"I'm so happy just to have a job again," said Micheal Chan, formerly laid off factory worker who worked at an automotive parts factory in Trademeet. "It can be hard out there, even for a hard working guy like me, but I'm glad it's all over. I'm going to do my best for VLT, I'm going to give them my all, because they came up to bat for me when I needed it... they got me out of the unemployment line and doing what I love again."

The Marshal Anderson Group, at one point the largest employer in the nation, completed this latest sale of what was once considered a core business component early this morning under the watchful eye of Charles Baya, the Special Director of Corporate Restructuring. Baya has been dubbed the "Chief Butcher" by analysts and workers alike due to his relentless drive to cut costs and return the floundering domestic giant to profitability, but some are wondering if even his methods are enough to save the corporate conglomerate from its rivals, including long time nemesis and current largest employer in the nation, the Perim Nealon Regal Group.

Dear VLT Automotive Group N.V.,
we are one of Germanyhaim's biggest automobile manufacturers and part of the VAG Group. However, we have a bit more autonomy from Volkswagen than some of their sister corporations, and are looking to engage in a 50-50 venture with you, sharing platforms and technology for our new range of mid-size saloon/estates (sedan/station wagon to U.S/Canadian residents), an off-roader and an MPV (minivan to U.S/Canadian residents).

Our nation is not far geographically from yours; we believe this venture will be of mutual benefit to you as well. Our nation has a slightly similar culture, and as far as we know, German is spoken in your nation, although we can do business in both English and Van Luxemburgish if you wish.

We also sell the German-designed-and-made, Mexican-designed and made, and Portuguese-built Volkswagens in our market alongside our locally-built models, giving buyers an extensive choice. We feel a partnership with VLT would be beneficial as currently our models need a redesign, and we believe you have the technical knowledge, and would be an excellent consultant.

This is not a takeover in any way, shape or form but an alliance - we have had these before (with Ford from 1987 - current, Opel 2001-2004 for producing a commercial vehicle derived from a car and a commercial vehicle van (equivalent in size to our imported Volkswagen LT, or a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, or a Ford Transit, except slightly larger) and Nissan (an off-roader with a V6 engine in, platform and design shared, different bodyshells, no rebadging, but engines shared!)

We would like to share the platform of the L5 and L6 models for our vehicles, and also offer you our commercial vehicle platforms for which you can use - the commercial vehicles weigh from 2.8 up to 3.5 tonnes, and come as long- or short-wheelbase).

We are open to further discussion, and appreciate a reply from you. We have found your L5 and L6 to be extremely high-quality examples of engineering that outdo even our own vehicles, which is extreme praise from us.

We await your reply with interest.

Yours faithfully

However, to make a well thought-out decision, we would require some information about Volkswagen in Germanyhaim, primarily the current profits and amount of sales, as well as a description of these Portuguese VW models. Our sources indicate that Portugal has no specific VW models, nor has Mexico. VW Brazil however has several unique models in their line-up, and we presume that these models are meant.

VLT is currently in the process of developing a heavy commercial van, and would be interested in more details of this commercial vehicle you are proposing. Could more information be given, if possible?

SUBJECT: Introduction of VLT Automotive Group in Nuluht

After some discussion in Parliamentary Hall, the Government of Nuluht has decided to bring the VLT Automotive Group to Nuluht. Currently we have no dealerships in Nuluht, and can only see automobiles produced by VLT in the richest parts of the country, where someone manages through the import laws and brings a VLT car here. The expected sales number is about 200,000 to 250,000. Our automobile market is one of the largest in Nuluht, and there are about 60,000 car dealerships all around the country. As for the possibility of a VLT Factory in Nuluht, I absolutely encourage you 100%. It would certainly help people get out of unemployment and help boost our economy.

However, we are looking to open a new partnership with you soon, and we would like to use your platforms to replace the entire General Motors Chevrolet-derived line-up. We wish to use your L3, L4, L5, L6, L7 and L9/L10 platforms for our new vehicles, and develop a new supermini to replace the imported Corsa. However, the Chevrolet Aveo will continue, despite the rest of the range being replaced.

We believe you would be the best partner for our venture which will last for 2 years - and this venture is a 50-50 venture, in which technology, design and engines can be shared. We will not rebadge any of your vehicles under the Chevrolet brand, but we would like to use your platforms, although the bodyshells will be different on any models in this venture.

Yours faithfully

Dear Sir,

We thank you for your interest in VLT Automotive. We are of course extremely interested in setting up business in Nuluht. We hope to establish a local distributor ('VLT Nuluht'), which will market VLT and VLT Commercial vehicles. Two subsidiaries, ('Monteluci di Nuluht' and 'Lepanto Nuluht') will be established to take care of sales of these two separate brands.

Production lines for the VLT L2 and L3 will be prepared for this factory. Currently, this is the only factory that will be constructed in Nuluht.

We wish you the best of luck and hope for a fine cooperation between your government and VLT Automotive!

Signed,
Cristiano Marino

Dear Sir,

We thank you for your interest in the VLT Group. However, we feel that this business agreement would not be very beneficial to our company. We would make 7 platforms available to your company, while only receiving one shared development in return. A development we think is unnecessary, currently.

Therefore, we thank you for your interest, but we are afraid that we will not make use of this offer.

Signed,
Kristin Becker,
Board of Directors,
VLT Automotive Group N.V.

Subject: Establishment of the VLT brand within Crookfur

Dear Mr Schmidt,

Greetings, after a degree of consultation The Crookfur Govenrment, on behalf of the People and the Crown would like to invite your good selves to establish a presence within Crookfur.

Currently the Crookfur automobile market sells approximately 600 million new vehicles per annum and although a major trend has developed for a move towards various hybrid and other alternative power systems there is still plenty of cusotmer opting for more traditional engined vehicles.

In regards to opertunities for yourselves within Crookfur there is a fairly entrenched domestic manufacturing base however our research does indicate that your brand will by itself be enough leverage to gain a foothold in the market likely starting at around 5% of sales and perhaps advancing to 20-25% within the next 10years. Our research has also identified that a dealer ship network of approximately 200 outlets would be an ideal starting point putting a dealership in most major cities with flag ship stores in Kirkhill, Conel and Covenant city.

The Department of Industry would also like to invite you to consider establishing production facilities within Crookfur where we have a large and exceptionally well educated labor force available.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

The Hon. David Harris MP
Industry Secretary
The kingdom of Crookfur

OOC: not sure how publically avail news of the change of staff would be so i'll happily amend the addressee. Also ment to do this ages ago.

Dear VLT Automotive Group N.V.,
we would like to change our business agreement, and work things more your way. We intend to replace all models (apart from the Aveo, Optra and Optra Reno, which will continue as budget-priced vehicles) with vehicles engineered by you. Although they will share platforms, we do not wish to use any form of badge-engineering on them.

We are open to further negotiation with you, and are open to further discussions to ensure that both parties can get the best out of this agreement.

Yours faithfully

Dear Sir,

I believe you have misunderstood us. Considering the fact that, if we would accept your proposal, we will be co-developing one platform, which we did not require in the first place, and will be giving the industrial secrets behind seven of our own platforms to your company in exchange, we feel that this proposal is not very beneficial for our company. Even though we appreciate your time, we will not make use of this offer, as, you might see yourself, is not very beneficial to us.

TO: VLT
FROM: The Republic of Andy Joseph

-Number of dealerships - you need to have at least one dealership in each of the Republic of Andy Joseph's major cities, if you can do this we'll allow to place as many dealerships as you see fit, as long as you don't go crazy with them.
-Expected sales number- It's a free country
-Short description of your automobile market- with a recent economic boom many people are buying new cars. In average each household owns at least two cars one being replaced every year.
-Possibility of a VLT Automotive Factory to be built in your nation- yes, just don't go crazy with factories.
For your interest, The Republic of Andy Joseph has very environmentally conscious people which leads to the country having an environmentally friendly market.

CC: Christian Sabourin, director of technology, <c.sabourin@vlt.vl>, Cristiano Marino, Interim Director of Sales, VLT Automotive Group N.V.

Dear VLT Automotive Group N.V.,
we would like to be the official distributor of VLT Automotive Group N.V. cars and commercial vehicles in Sureste Mexico. VLT is a brand name that has been a common grey import for a few years now, alongside Daewoo, Holden and Kulsah (the last three became officially available here in 1997, 2001 and 2003 respectively).
We would like to market the following vehicles:
VLT
L3 1.4 TCi 200 $313,494
L3 2.0 TCi GT $325,975
L5 2.0 TCi 280 4dr $TBA
L5 3.5 V6 240 4dr $TBA
Monteluci
Monteluci Duca 3.2 V6 Biturbo $511,725

Our national currency is the peso, the $ indicating this. In order to keep with previous requests you have had, we will supply Monteluci vehicles, which we have read must be sold alongside VLT in order to keep the franchise.

We would like to build a new assembly plant for the L5 sedan and wagon and also the L9 off-roader in Arizpehelde.
Also, we intend to market the L5 sedan and wagon in our nation, but there are some local preferences that we hope you can take into account.
The first local issue with regard to the L5 sedan/wagon is turbocharged engines - these are not that common in our nation except for sports versions of sedans, so we would like to use a naturally-aspirated engine, perhaps a 2.0-litre/136bhp 4-cylinder, to go below the 2.0 TCi 280.
The 1.4 TCi E-Motion and TCi 200 will not be marketed here, because local preferences see a 1.4 in a family-size car like this as being too small. The diesels will not be marketed here either, as we do not feel they will sell that well here.

However, we do intend to market the 2.0 TCi 280 and 3.5 V6 340 petrol engines here, as listed above. - and would be interested to know if any option packs are available, e.g. Comfort/Sport, and if we can offer these in our nation.

We would also be interested to know if there is any possibility of an estate/station wagon version of the L3 and Monteluci Duca, as estates/station wagons sell well in our nation.

Our company will open up 80 dealerships across the nation, with 10 in the capital Marecura City. The Monteluci brand will be tested by Automovil magazine when we can get approval from you as to when we can test one - a PDF will be available soon.

We look forward to working with you, and await your reply!

Yours faithfully
Richard Garcia
