New Island Found (Open-MT, PMT)

Postby Kalaspia-Shimarata » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:18 pm

A new island has been found off the coast of Shimarata by the of Klezarima meaning "New Home" if you want a claim on it, just draw you desired area on the map IN A COLOUR OTHER THAN GREY OR BLACK WHICH IS NOT IN USE and LABLE IT. If there are 2 people wanting the same UNCLAIMED land, the HEIGHEST bidder gets it. If your desired claim is to large, it'll be reserved for you in black or grey for 24 hours before it's avalible again.
The Dark blue is Salt Water and part of the Atlantic Ocean
The Yellow is Fresh Water. DO NOT POLUTE IT as mermaids live there.
Green is land
If your nation becomes an ex-nation, you have a week to restore it or create a new one and TELEGRAM me before the land becomes and avalible again.
Please treate mermaids like you would treat humans as they are anthropoginic but you don't have to, as, after all, it is YOUR Land.
N=North
B=Brosta. Brosta is a secret ancient Kalashi Locating System abreviated as BLS (B- Locating System)[OOC]I can't tell you what the B stands for. It's my surname IRL[/OOC]

Kalaspia-Shimarata's flag represents the Union between K&S. The dark blue represents the sea and the light blue represents the sky. In Kalashi language considers light blue and dark blue to be different colours. England colonised, and unified K&S, between 1774 and 1953, and English, light blue and dark blue are considered to be the same colour. Therefore, the contrast between dark blue and light blue represents the union, but the differences between K&S where as blue being two but simultaneously one colour represents K&S being two, but simultaniously one entity. The opposite to the symmetry represents the unity and indipendance of K&S, whilst also representing the Kalashi culture of opposite symmetry.KS is 75% Christian, hence the cross.

You know, it CAN be TWICE the size, but anyway, accepted! How much are you willing to bid for it?

Seeing as there is no competition at the moment, a few thousand standard dollars to stake out the tentative claim seem sufficient.
We will invest 3,000 NSD in our colonization efforts, if you can supply us with more information on this discovered island.
The four-eyed humans, and the mermaids - what are their views towards us strangers? What s the state of their civilization? What exactly is the BLS?

1.The 4-eyed humans and mermaids are native to Kalaspia-Shimarata and speak a form of Shimaratan which we thought was dead. About you strangers, we have spoken to them about colinisation and said they are happy to compromise with the coliniser
2.They're native tribes. Yet to be civilised. Thousands of years ago when Kalaspia and Shimarata started to develop civilisations which started wars with other civilisations and tribes, in order to avoid being conquered, they had to fight or flee. Since they didn't want to be developed nor conquered, we belive they fled to this island
3.We can't give out any more details about the BLS. It's a secret!

While Orwyn is not MT or PMT tech level the various Ministries and the Parliament have stressed to the Emperor the benefit a colony on this island could provide in study of the human species and other items.

Yes the Orwyn Government wishes to seek a wavier for the purchase of the colony. The colony will be above the tech level suggestions but will remain mostly isolated to conduct the studies it is being formed for.
