At this time we have two requests to make of our favorite corporation. We are fully launching the Imperial Aid and Humanitarian Services (IAHS). While we have capable of building many things ourselves, and through the aid and support of other nations have garnered many vessels, we still lack several pieces of equipment and hardware we will surely need.

First off we would like to request your Camo and Concealment services. We require a standard of 40,000 fatigue uniforms for use by our Medical, and Support staff serving the IAHS. We will leave the majority of the design up to you, as your advise i the past has proven beneficial to our purchases and we fully believe in your capabilities. We do require them to somehow convey the fact that these are non-combatant medical personnel. Standard green camo is acceptable, though Karlberg Industries may be as creative as they wish in the designs.

Additionally we would like to commission ambulances, and/or transportation vehicles (for both supplies and personnel). We will purchase either the plans for said vehicles, or commission the construction of a negotiable amount. At this time we cannot give a set amount of requested units without knowing the price, though ideally we will want close to 1,000.

We hope Karlberg Industries is willing to undertake this project. Your assistance will help save countless lives, and we thank you in advance for your time.

Your fatigue designs have been approved by by the IAHS and the Imperial Court. Your generous donation is very much appreciated. It is through the generosity of corporations and nations like yours that the IAHS will be able to successfully provide aid to across the globe.

We were looking for additional air transportation. The current units being used by the IAHS are experimental and on loan from our military. We will purchase 100- NH90 Transport Helicopters. Should they prove as brilliant as the other products purchased from your offices we will surely purchase a greater number at a later date.

We require both dedicated ambulances, and transports/lorries. The ambulances will need to have at least some armoring if at all possible due to the fact that they will be traveling into battlezones in which air ambulances may not be feasible. A minimum of 2-4 stretcher capacity. Internal storage compartments, and a seperate/emergency power source for use by medics in case of emergency. This will be used for medical supplies and powering equipment such as defibrillators.

We are not to particular in regards to the transports/lorries. They will be used to ferry both personnel and supplies to and from aid stations. They are not required to be armored as they will not be entering battlezones. We need a vehicle that can transport alot, but still be fairly cost effective. The more cargo/personnel space the better, at minimum they must be capable of holding 25 personnel or 2 tons of cargo. If this number can be increased, and manage to not break the bank then that is acceptable.

If possible for the ground vehicles to be eco friendly as well that will be one less pain for the IAHS to deal with. If they must rely on standard fossil fuel sources we will also need to purchase a small fleet of tankers to provide for them. As the IAHS is running on a budget we may only purchase a small fleet of vehicles for now should the cost be greater then what we are currently willing/able to pay.

DANGISH RAILWAYS

Dear Sir/Madame,

Dangish Railways is the operator of all public railways within the Dangish Empire. Her Majesty's Government has recently completed the final draft of the so-called Saxon Report, officially the Modernisation and Expansion of the Railways Act, 2011. This Act of Parliament, which is expected to be passed in just under three weeks, entitles Dangish Railways to purchase modern train carriages to be used on all routes by the year 2015. We are also permitted to purchase special stock for new high speed rail networks.

All tracks in the Dangish Empire will be electrified by 2014, and we will be using a third rail method to deliver electricity to trains. Due to the large distances on certain routes within the Dangish Empire, such as the epic New London to Intel route, we would like to order special sleeper carriages. These sleeper carriages will only be on special sleeper trains, and will be around 10% of all domestic trains in the Empire.

Sleeper trains must have three classes available. First Class, the most expensive, but will offer the most amenities. The cabins will be for one person, entitling the holder to free breakfast. Room service will also be available for free, and ticket holders will be entitled to use lounges available at certain stations. Second Class will offer a cabin for four persons, consisting of two opposite bunk beds and a wash basin. Included is early morning tea or coffee.

Third class will be similar to airlines, with reclining seats in an air conditioned carriage, shared by up to 20 people. Amenities include tables, footrests and a reading light. Other airline-style facilities will be provided. First and second class will both entitle the holder to an air-conditioned cabin, with a wash basin, shaver point, hand towel and bottled water. These cabins will comply with SLEP regulations.

We would like all of these sleeper trains to be of K-High Speed 1 specification. However, we also require truly high-speed services. For these, we are afraid that rail is not enough. We require magnetic levitation transport. This form of transport will achieve speeds of 300 mph in ordinary commercial use. By 2020, we want 40% of all domestic trains in the Empire to be running on magnetic levitation technology.

Dangish Railways would like to commission Karlberg Industries to build magnetic levitation trains to operate at speeds of 300 mph for 40% of the Dangish rail network. Dangish Railways will be able to deal with infrastructure difficulties in the Empire itself, but we would like Karlberg to build the trains and their carriages. For our purchase of K-High Speed 1 trains, we would like to order 10 sets. They must be modified to our wishes and use third rail technology.

Dangish Railways also has interests in underground stock provided by Karlberg Industries. Transport for New London (TfNL), the local government body responsible for most transport within the capital, is looking for new rolling stock to be ran in the New London Underground. TfNL needs to completely replace stock on three lines, and we will need 132 train sets. We would like to purchase these train sets to be of Karlberg Metro-120 specification.

We would like a few other features to be included in all trains that we purchase. Firstly, all trains must have a digital voiceover system on board. Secondly, all trains must be painted to Dangish Railways colours - red and gold. This is excluding underground stock which will be in NLU colours - red and white.

Transport for New London also wishes to enquire on whether any new tram stock will become available. It is likely that tram services, known as the New London Overground, will be introduced in a few years time, and we are not satisfied with the current stock available - we require more ergonomics, higher speeds and lower power requirements.

As Dangish Railways is a government-owned authority, it is my pleasure to present Karlberg Industries with a Royal Charter. Her Majesty's Government intends to use trains by Karlberg Industries for the benefit of the public, and also for Her Majesty the Queen. The Royal Charter (please, wear with pride), is attached.

We understand that this is a new field for your company, but we are sure the brilliant engineers at Karlberg will do a fine job. Please note that there is no rush to complete the designs and begin construction. The IAHS is currently undertaking a mass refit and overhaul of all vessels at its disposal, and as such can only field 10% of its personnel. Due to this there is no rush placed on any of our orders, and as such Karlberg Industries may take its time in designs, construction, and delivery.

The projected total for this purchase is $6,750,000,000 for the helicopters, and $11,205,000,000 for the artillery systems. Unfortunately, our country, while under the iron fist of the United Stanian Socialist Region between 1929 and 1965, was forced to support a number of human rights violations and outright war crimes committed by the Red Army. In fact, during the Stanian-Kandar War, the Red Army, composed almost exclusively of ethnic Lolzis, was encouraged and sometimes ordered to raze entire villages to root out the mujahideen. To this day, we go out of our way to avoid civillian casualties, and we feel that this donation may help us pay off this debt to humanity, even if only a little. As an added donation, any aspiring IAHS combat surgeons can apply for education at Zaieskograd State Medical University, free of charge. It is the least we can do for your organization.

We have attached photography of existing New London Underground rolling stock and the colour scheme in use for that service, as well as general use Dangish Railways colours. We have decided to send the funds proportional to each train delivered. This is to ensure that trains are delivered on schedule, and also to ensure that a decline in quality does not occur. We hope you do not think us disrespectful, but this is standard government policy in regards to outsourcing.

We will be ordering four sets of magnetic levitation trains from Karlberg Industries, and would like to reserve two more in case demand catches up with supply. Furthermore, we would like to commission Karlberg Industries to investigate "vactrain" concepts, and report back to Dangish Railways with their feasibility.

Vactrain, or vacuum tube trains, use magnetic levitation technology within a vacuum tube - for underwater and underground travel at speeds approaching 600 mph. Currently untested, it could be achieved by 2021, and the Dangish Empire wishes to be at the forefront of the changes. We will pay all fees for the investigation of whether it would be feasible for Her Majesty's Government to authorise the purchase vactrains in advance of their first commercial release.

It is also with great regret, that I announce to Karlberg Industries that Dangish Railways is due to be privatised. Dangish Railways, when it started, was a profitable enterprise for Her Majesty's Government. The Liberal Democrats were overjoyed by our financial reports. However, usage declined and now Dangish Railways has a hole of £50 billion.

The Conservative Party has decided to privatise us, splitting us regionally into companies primarily owned by private enterprise but partly owned by government. Despite this, Karlberg Industries should proceed and deliver trains to Dangish Railways, and we shall allocate them before we are fully privatised in summer 2012.
