Our board of directors has only recently taken note of the existence of the "Reserve Bank of Indonesia", which evidently has become in the past few months the "best banking institution in the world". Before we bow our heads in reverence to the Reserve Bank of Indonesia, we have a minor question:

How is it exactly that your bank claims to have $500.2 trillion in cash simply on hand? Unless your "bank" is in fact simply a penny bank, we have a hard time believing that the Reserve Bank of Indonesia is capable of turning any profit whatsoever while so little of its money is being lended out. And on that note, we have a hard time believing that interest can truly be accrued by any of the accounts currently in RBI's possession; where is this interest coming from? Thin air?

Until RBI begins to show some inkling of a business plan to turn any sort of profit and ceases the existing practice of essentially doling out money that RBI does not have in interest, FBG's credit rating agency (GIP) has seen fit to assign RBI a CC rating, indicating a highly vulnerable borrower. We would highly recommend that all current RBI customers tread carefully with an institution that appears to be on the brink of virtual insolvency, despite their rather outlandish claims to the contrary.
