From: The Radicchian Governor's Council, In session: Council Chambers, 404 W. Crist Ave. Jonston Bay, District #15 Isla de Cerdo, The Colony of Raicchio To: States signatory to the Amistad Declaration. Encryption Level: UNENCRYPTED Date: December 21st, 2014 The Colony of Radicchio - The Offices of the Council of 11. We the Governors of the Colony of Radicchio, in accordance with our laws and processes, appoint unto this Council of 11 the rights of due congress for the signing and service of treatise, trade, consession and embargo. This council has been informed of intent, by an undersigned letter who's language was approved last week in session by a vote of 29>6 of the approval by majority of the Governor's Council of the Colony of Radicchio to seek, study and form an official position on this document: The Amistad Declaration on Slavery and the Rights of Man. This Council of 11 has taken into advisement the letter of intent and approved the imposition of their own power in this matter, having decided that under Radicchian Common law, that they do infact possess the authority supposed and granted them by the greater Governor's Council body. The Amistad Declaration has been read aloud in open session and it's language scrutinized in closed session where debate was heard and where concerns were voiced that the afore mentioned declaration focuses at times TOO clearly on the common application of force and at other times less than clearly on the Rights of Man. This debate being heard and the council's agreement having been made that in any official release on this matter, there ought to be included language which both condemns slavery but also clearly condemns the common application of force and the condemnation of the Slaver as being beneath the non-slaver. This council recognizes and indeed condemns the slaver, accepts under debate the language of the Amistad Declaration and notes that it's language though acceptable, is flawed. The conditions of debate having been met in this document, it is the intent to declare our bias towards the Declaration and to undersign it's provisions with the full force of the Governor's Council and it's authority to join into international agreements. We here the Undersigned, having been elected by the People of the COlony of Radicchio and appointed fom among our peers to represent their Council in matters of international importance, knowing of the intent of the Council to accept this Declaration and having studied it under debate, hereby sign, accept and vow to enforce the provisions of The Amistad Declaration on Slavery and the Rights of Man.
