By the way, my nation has arranged to acquire 20,000 eunuchs for military training and manpower...in other words, cannon fodder.

As for atrocities, the Parthians have no qualms about them, either. Instead of complaining about the deaths of civilians, or rape, or other such things, the Parthians intend to commit their share of war crimes, including the enslavement and killing of enemy troops and civilians who aid them. We are not going to set up POW camps. If captured, your troops will be either enslaved or shot.

Just being honest and realistic. Parthians are not the sort to have any concerns over human rights or lack thereof. That's how they would behave, so that is how I am behaving.

Nothing personal. It literally does not affect who I associate with at all.

It doesn't make any sense...

For that, I apologize. Please TG me if you want to continue this. We're spamming the thread up.

Read, understood, but not followed. I am not going to play the Parthians as a PC nation, because they weren't one.

You're welcome to RP an invasion before, during, or after this in a separate thread, but Parthians will be Parthians. The 20,000 eunuchs can be used in defense as well as offense, after all.

Your nation was created yesterday. Which means its entire military can be, without wank, 300,000 total. Plus the eunuchs, 320,000.

My airforce alone is larger than that, and we would never have to set a boot on the ground to demolish whatever meager force you could resist with.

Don't test me. This whole situation is trying enough ICly and OOCly.

LOL pssst in-case you haven't been keeping score GT just made buffalo wings out of a city of his own civilians with a nuclear strike :) lol

i love the high and mighty platitudes and it reflects why the west is loosing in present conflicts.

if these conflicts had been in the 80s they would have been over because if you took sniper fire from a village, the village would have been erased from the map. that was the tactical doctrine then and it worked! civilians in occupied territory provide aid and comfort to the enemy combat forces, thus they are valid targets. this was ground into us over and over in RL when i was serving. So if possible you seed escape routes with mines and premap artillery co-ordinates and you either engage pin and kill your targets or you herd them into kill boxes. RL tough over and over again.

On one hand you don't want to leave a load of civilians aiding and comforting the enemy, and on the other hand you don't want to massacre civilians without knowledge. I'd recommend, if tactically possible, conducting leaflet drops with specific instructions to any civilians that if they do not want to be taken for enemy combatants, to defect immediately upon the arrival of allied forces by surrendering. Also any surrendered slavers and GT gov't members who would be too much of a burden to take prisoner, you are welcome to send them to me. My nation has a number of facilities on its own soil which can be used to hold them. It'd actually be helpful for investigating a possible Tezdriani connection to the Artur Quattrone slavers we currently have locked up.

EDIT: Also feel free to add me to the nations on Lyras' side.

Yeah, once the field day gets started it's hard impossible to reverse. Lyras himself might not do it, though. If you look at the background/history section of his Enforcer Shockmace thread, it'll give you a hint of his attitude toward it.
Lyras wrote:Lyran maintenance of internal law and order has, over the four centuries of the Protectorate's existence, become well known. Not a single riot or major civil disturbance has been recorded over the two hundred years that Lyras has endured. Which, almost as one would expect, made Lyran personnel tremendously ill-equipped and ill-prepared for the widescale civil disturbances that followed their annexation of western Fehnmar during the First Lyro-Fehnmari War. Combat troops, belonging to the 6401st battalion of the 19th Order, stationed in Dexter, were called in to quell looting and aggressive civil disobedience. Unused to police work, and taking casualties from rocks and molotov cocktails, the 6401st eventually resorted to firing into the crowd, resulting in the St Patrick's Day Massacre. 92 people were killed, several times that wounded. While the inquest held at the direction of the Warmarshal exonerated the Lyran personnel and their commanders of wrongdoing, the situation was far from acceptable. As a side note, the perception of dishonour lingered to the extent that, three years later, the officer that commanded the 6401st battalion during the incident committed suicide.

Ok I'm back from school and I have two options:

A. From the tip of the peninsula near Coral Bay, a mad dash to the north, follow the road into Ableyon, cross the river and make a hasty dash to Maho Bay, for a Cemo-netted Intended Smoke-belching Hydrofoil dubbed 'The Hyacinth' will be waiting to pick them up.

B. Sewer Journey against civilians, WW2 Leftovers, occasional wildlife and one broken-down engine....either for the Opratives or the Rescue team itself. How big is the Tezdriani Sewers?

Anyhow, both will end up with an apmhibious assault strike composed of 10+ IFV's for a blitzkrieg of a small village in a free coastline and submarinal shenanigans.

I blame schoolwork for the inferior quality of my posts.

My Secret Police near Coral Bay, I'm pulling out and come back with standard marines.

But the problem is I want to minimize encounters to other nations.....or I'll just have to do it the hard way, whatever it is.

This is a map of my puppet state, Parthia Magna....it is NOT the real Parthian Empire. It is instead a nation founded by descendants of the original Parthians, after they were deposed by the Sassanids. NS history, of course, not real history.

Righto, typing post now. Cheers for the patience.
Mokastana: Then Lyras happened.

Allanea: Wanting to avoid fighting Lyras' fuck-huge military is also a reasonable IC consideration

TPF: Who is stupid enough to attack a Lyran convoy?

Sumer: Honestly, I'd rather face Doom's military with Doom having a 3-1 advantage over me, than take a 1-1 fight with a well-supplied Lyran tank unit.

Kinsgard: RL Lyras is like a real life video game character.

Ieperithem: Eighty four. Eighty four percent of their terrifyingly massive GDP goes directly into their military. And they actually know how to manage it. It's safe to say there isn't a single nation that could feasibly stand against them if they wanted it to die.
Yikes. Just... Yikes.

I mean no offense to y'all, but take a gander at the really good, really serious RPs by the "big boys". Those RPs, more often than not, are lucky to have two posts a day. More than a few of the best RPed wars in the history of this game have lasted OOCly for months and months and yet ICly only covered days.
