@Teccor- Technically, the bombing strikes I just launched against GT are about 50 times worse for his civvies. What is more open, however, are the mass execution of slavers that he is doing in Ostgaard.
And I would side with him. Holy Marsh is conducting a Holy War in this affair and slavers are considered viable targets, no matter the situation. Of course, we won't kill slavers en masse, but there will be executions.

Yeah, this. I will be executing certain slavers, freeing slaves, and keeping a list of all slavers for future punishment and that is as nice as it will get in regards to those who recently signed the Declaration.

I have my reasons ,very IC ones. One of my biggest allies just got cheated out of $68trillion, Slavery is a sin to most people in my country, and is a crime punishable only by death if found guilty.

There are records in my nation of slavers getting shipwrecked and being hung from a tree upside down wrapped in fresh killed deer skin. A week later the local villagers would come back and collect the bones and deer skin for use.

My Government knows better than to call itself the "good guys" in this conflict considering they intend too, as i have said in MSN chats before "Leave a path of blood behind their forces to rival that in scale and bloodshed of the great purges committed by Mao and Stalin and Hitler combined" (though, only people to purged in this case are those who actively participate in/defend the slave trade).

Pretty much all of the civilian's in the zone of occupation have been rounded up, so I'm wondering who Holy Marsh is killing since I posted the cleansing of any remaining Tezdriani military and government members.

I'm assuming that your nations believe genocide to be better than Slavery. On top of that, most of your nations are ICly portraying a "holier-than-thou" attitude that they are using to legitimize mass murder of innocents. Depends. Our plan right now is to bomb the shit out of the cities and send an appeal to his government for immediate surrender. If he does that, then our occupation of his cities will feature even fewer executions and a more liberal dismantling of the slave structure.

If he turns that down, then offensive operations will be kicked into high gear. Right now, ten Army Groups with a real Naval Task Force(the forces involved so far were meant for wargames initially) are on their way. Whether this is to aid in a somewhat kind occupation or to CRUSHKILLDESTROY will be decided soon.

And any attack on Marshite forces, for any reason, will result in the Marshite military slaughtering to the last man and woman the forces involved. Depending on the reasoning, it will either be an isolated incident or the offending nation may be lumped in as a slave-sympathizer and marked up for destruction.

@Unilisia- Considering the amount of time you spent in the area(not too long) and the fact that it is a major city, it would be impossible to say all civilians are away. That and since the Allanean operation there has not been called out would mean that there are still plenty of people there.
As for who will be executed, it depends- people involved in the actual enslavement and selling of people will be punished. Regular slaveowners who bought people and took part in the system will be punished as well, but more financially than anything else.

Technically, in this conflict, you will be killing Tezdriani "businessman", and it would be a systematic killing of them all. Pesudo-genocide, idk.
