Also, note that this is an OOC thread. OOC ORBATs are for full disclosure, not really for "Classified" information. You can say things are SIC (and the specifics of your deployment are SIC to most people by default) but you can't just say something exists and then say "oh, but we're not telling you what it is." Please specify your "top secret" and "classified" portions of your ORBAT.

I also question if you're aware that a division averages between 10 and 20 thousand.

And ships. Where is your navy?

Thank you for the critique I understand, originally my divisions were in the tens but then I looked at Lyrias orbat and not wanting to be underpowered put them in the hundreds. Could you suggest a more realistic unit size for me? Also Crifix is landlocked so no navy. Could you perhaps help me craft a better Orbat. Thank you.

Keep mind that what you send is dependent on your military figures, which should be consistent. If you can't afford to send more, don't increase your numbers just because someone else can outdo you in numbers.

How are you moving these around without a navy? Air transport is much more limited, and it would be almost impossible to actually deploy them. Like, you have no idea how long it would take. You wouldn't be operational for a very long time. And you have no way of moving fighters into range unless you're a neighbor (which it appears you're not).

I'd help with a better ORBAT, but I'm actually at work and don't really have the focus to be doing that. Posting quick comments and critiques are far less time-consuming.

I decided that agonizing death was not on my list of things to do yet. Cross me off; withdrew etc.
This nation is an extension of Estainia based on an alternate-outcome of the Estainian Civil War much like Russo-Spain. It uses the population of Estainia if you do not like this, do not request a roleplay with this nation; and instead refer to Estainia or Russo-Spain.

That's no excuse for blatant population wanking. Assuming 12.000 men per division, and not including armored or artillery divisions, you are deploying 8.472.000 men. That's massive compared to your total population of 729.000.000 - over 1%.

If I could make a humble suggestion - accept that loosing a conflict does not diminish the fun of the RP. Go for a more realistic number, and focus on winning renown for your troops. Standing up to Lyras alone is not something to be taken lightly; I wouldn't imagine attempting that, much less trying to win, and I have a tremendous number of men and resources compared to you. The fact that you are willing to do so says something about your character, and ICly the character of your people. Plus, even if you loose in Tezdrian, you won't be facing any immediate threat to your national sovereignty. So just go with a more realistic force, and have fun with the RP. You are daring to do what many more experienced NSers wouldn't dream of.

A more realistic number might be the order of one army group - maybe 10 divisions of all types plus associated support units. Between 250.000 and 500.000 men, perhaps. I'd go with a couple divisions of leg/motorized infantry, a couple more mechanized infantry, and one or two armored divisions. If you organize your artillery at a divisional level, add one of those bad boys in. Same said for engineer units, if you use engineer divisions. No need for paratroops, unless you're using them as a rapid reaction force to send ahead of your main body. Deploy lots of SAM batteries. Conceal your forces and dig in to make them more difficult targets for the massive air strikes you're going to receive (have no doubt, they're coming). Wait until the enemy has landed, then hit the beachhead with every armored and mechanized infantry division you have. If you're lucky, you're going to put a nice little dent in the Lyran/Allied timetable for the invasion.

Hello!
I know you are looking for opinions/suggestions, and I would suggest that you use numbers that more accurately reflect what you could field. Considering you call this an initial spearhead force and you have yet to include hard numbers of aircraft and naval forces, I think it is safe to say that your nation would suffer an economic breakdown.

Now, if this was your entire military, it would be a fair bit more realistic.

This RP will be unlike those. You are dealing with military hyper and omnipowers, who not only outproduce entire alliances and regions, but have the tactical and strategic abilities to boot.

I would suggest redoing your military, keeping in mind that it would take the majority of the navies dedicated to GT and his allies to transport your force.
