The news had made it to Dictator. The news of Free Missouri's rejection of demands. Yes a rejection, a no: something which Dictator and cabinet was not used to hear: at least not when terms were so reasonable.
There was a knock on his door as he touched a ipad soon the door opened; entered his personal assistant, "Sir, cabinet has agreed an immediate declaration of war on grounds that Free Missouri has ignored ultimatum. Minister of Defense has said that our armed forces is capable of war and an easy victory over Free Missouri. Minister of Defense has said he will send you an email shortly informing of said course of action." he informed dictator. "Very well. If they want to be unreasonable, and hold reason as their hostage: so be it. We will show them how we free the reason from hostage. Please print out the final diplomatic action telegraph." replied dictator as he looked at his screen for the email. "Aye sir!" agreed personal assistant as he walked out of the door.

I would suggest turning this thread into an OOC thread to save on clutter in the IC/War thread and make it easier on all of us.

So Based on that....

West Reich, I am curious how a nation as small as yours boasts a nuclear arsenal. It is pretty accepted that a nation can't even start a nuclear program until they reach 100M Population. This helps cut back on the noob nuke spammers.

Not saying you don't have them, but I am curious is all.

Also, in the future, when someone sends and "OOC" encrypted message, it is pretty common knowledge that your enemy can't act on it. Even though you can physically see it, doesn't mean your IC people can. So please refrain from quoting secure communications and acting upon it in the future.

So, back to the OOC thread. I hope Free Missouri doesn't walk away thinking everyone jumped him because he intervened in Talibastain. Plenty of other countries are operating there and they aren't being singled out--I will admit to not having roleplayed during the days of the Missourian Rebels and Christian Indians, but from what I hear a lot of nations have a beef with FM for a combination of reasons including godmodding, lack of diplomacy, and warmongering.

Now, my nation is moderately interventionist, so I myself see nothing wrong with, for instance, getting involved in Talibastain both IC and OOC. however, even considering that I entered this dispute on the side of FM, I eventually chose a neutral path because of FM's lack of diplomacy and lack of consideration for others--part of why I was only too happy to take damage following the EMP attacks, since I had previously declared that I was friendly to FM AND had forces in the Gulf (along with FM's enemies). The resulting mess could have been handled had I been forewarned about the EMP...could have sent my older, vulnerable ships (and some of the newer ones as well) away from the area, or he could have tried not to affect that part of the Gulf.

As for the newcomers to the war thread: I think some of them really are making an effort to RP better, but I do wish more people would take a look at the general tone of a forum thread and act accordingly. If I look at a thread and see that the roleplayers are well into a war and are pretty good roleplayers, I'm going to be pretty careful about jumping in and will be putting in my best effort to match the quality of that thread. Just some friendly advice...I'm not upset or anything, just disappointed when roleplay threads die or get disrupted in the middle of a story or war.

My fleet was in that golf aswell along with aircraft. But I just assumed they were out of range. If the second EMP hadn't been intersepted I probably would get my self involved.

For the first part:

I am a firm believer in the rule of 100 when it comes to nuclear weapons. Which goes along the lines of you can't even begin to fund/research nuclear weapons until you reach 100M population. It is a good, and fair rule that keeps the noobs from nuke spamming everyone around them.

As such, his.... "attack" was and shall be ignored. Not to mention the rampant god modding also.

If for some reason he wanted to actually start a war with me, I would crush his nation faster then the US did against Iraq in the first Gulf War.

NH pretty much summed it up. Sadly, a solid and good rp was fully ruined by both Free Missouri's extreme lack of reality/realism and several nations of godmodding noob spam. Even with myself trying to educate and play the part of GM, the overwhelming amount of stupidity was too much to contain.

The truth is that you just plan suck at role playing. Your past two accounts and the giant fails they were back this up. You run around the forum sticking your ic head where it doesn't belong, then when the community IC tries to stop you, all you do is stomp your feet and cry about not getting your way.

We tried to be fair, we even tried to be nice and offer advice to you and allow you to alter your posts to bring them in line with even the min standard set. You couldn't even do that!

Don't blame the community because you have no clue what the word realism means. Hell, normally by this time I point out that there are a dozen well written and very informative stickies to help people like you... however you have been around here long enough you should know better.
