"Coming back early? Good, I personally advise getting plenty of rest for tomorrow. We found Novatia." He said.

The entire next day would be difficult. Up at six for a two mile run around the ship, up and down decks, then allowed breakfast, then back out for different arcane instruction.

Rahegalhoff spent the day teaching them how to use their magic in combat, with assistance from the Masters, and made the students practice various fighting styles until he was satisfied. He did not accept any excuse or reason at all whatsoever as to why someone could or would not do it. Then he got into the tactics of the ship, outlining every part of the ship that needed to be covered, where each person was going to be, and what was to be expected of them. Then it was back to practice in simulated combat, and by the end of the day, even the Masters were complaining. Rahegalhoff about how much further they had to go in such a short amount of time, The Masters because of how hard Raggy was driving everyone.

Thankfully, it was dinner time, and Rahegalhoff was not seen nor heard from for the rest of the night.

The next two days would be identical.

On the third...

Rahegalhoff was in mid-stride when he froze in his steps.

Thunder rolled in the distance, and the waves began to pick up. He shuddered violently. Within seconds, Justice had been drawn, and he had a grim look on his face.

Black storm clouds boiled in overhead, and the ocean became violent, as though there were an intruder upon it that it did not want.

"All Hands to battlestations. We've intercepted Captain Novatia." He said with such seriousness there was no doubt this was niether a drill, nor a test..

The students all move to their assigned Battlestations within an instant

From out of the sea rose a forest of Masts, and afixed to all of them was The Black Whirlpool. The ships were rotting destroyed wrecks, that certainly should not be capable of floating, so large were the holes in their hulls and on their flags. Skeletons and zombies plied the ships, and began swinging over on rotted ropes, drawing weapons immediatly.

"The Power, give me the power!" Each of the skeletons on the enemy ships demanded. It was almost like a battlecry, but it was quickly clear that the enemy had been literally drawn to the school ship by the total amount of power there.

The Skeletons struck first, but the Paladins had the front lines, the Magekillers behind them, the teachers behind them. The Masters and apprentices guarded the students.

The well drawn plans, all of Rahegalhoff's instruction, all their combined education was quickly put to the test, as the sheer number of undead overwhelmed the defenders, and were at the students almost instantly.

Everyone would be seperated from everyone else.

And the Summoners couldn't summon directly, instead, they had all been instructed to channel their summons.

Three Skeletons attacked Caroline with swords, but she had The Judge Magister's swords, and his skill, and his powers, and his armor....

Caroline used them well and a few Moments later, the three skeletons had been vanquished.
James, Meanwhile, Had started to set any nearby zombies' heads on fire

There was no sign of The Masters, or of Captain Novatia.

Still the Skeletons kept coming. They gave a wide birth around Caroline and another Skeleton, silently forming a ring around the pair, and holding all outsiders off.

The Skeleton took a moment to wipe the blood off of a still very sharp, very new looking Scimitar. He wore a green coat, and a black hat with a feather in it. He cradled a gold scepter with a red jewel at the top, and on his black gloves was a picture of The Black Whirlpool.

"Get out of me way, Miss. Summoners are no use for the Ressurection Rites so that I can come back to life. If you don't move, you'll be another victim to Captain Novatia." Captain Novatia said, introducing himself in the process.

He put his blood handkerchef away, and held both his staff, and his scimitar at the ready, if she didn't move.

Caroline Blocked Novatia's swing with one sword and Slashed at him with the other

The sword went through his coat, but otherwise missed as it sailed between his rib bones.

He swung again, the blade glimmering with light from Hilo's Staff.

This time Caroline Blocked with both her swords, she then Kicked at Novatia's Midsection

The red light began traveling up Caroline's swords...

Meanwhile, the kick was dodged. Skeletons were difficult opponents to fight.

"HOLY SHIELD! PROTECT YOUR LIFE FORCE FROM THAT LIGHT!" Judge Magister's Voice screamed inside her mind.

He swung his sword again, this time vertically.

He blocked with his, as he progressed ever closer, her swords going through his skeleton and not hitting a single bone.

He was in a dangerous position, and swung to stab her in the middle of her head, but the staff of Hilo he seemed so protective of was close within reach, one more swing should break it...
