"Yes, that sounds like a useful thing to know," Matthew said.

[Warhaven]

"Well, let's go back to the maze." Guin suggested to Arthur.

"Behave yourselves, and don't go past kissing." Lara said simply.

[The Floor Kippers]

"How about we get Kembel to drop us off at the centre?" Arthur suggested.

[Warhaven]

"Ok." Guin enthused, going out to climb on Kembal.

[The Floor Kippers]

"Hopefully this time I can show you the maze properly," Arthur said with a grin as she climbed up behind him.

[Warhaven]

"Hopefully. I don't know though, I might need another kiss to concentrate." Guin said as they headed back to the maze.
...
"I, never knew about Elru. Our own histories never mentioned him, or what really happened with the original group. I had no reason to think the rites as being something other than away to focus and control out power, the oath of loyalty a way to keep that focus and control in place." Lara said to Matthew.

"Oh no, what a bummer," Arthur said in a tone that clearly said that it wasn't.
They would touch down in the centre of a maze, that turned out to be a small ornate bonsia garden with water features.
....
"Something are meant to be forgotten, so that they can be remembered to bring an end to them," Matthew said simply.

[Warhaven]

"This place is pretty." Guin enthused, climbing down, and walking around the bonsai garden, looking at the flowers and water features. Clearly though, she was giving Arthur a chance to make the move this time, and giving him a chance to do so.

....

"Then, to the future."

Arthur seated himself on one of the benches and gestured for Guinevere to join him.

"To the future, whatever it may hold," Matthew and Adela said together.

[Warhaven]

Guinevere joined Arthur, cooperating with his attempts at putting the moves on her.

"It is a pretty little garden," Arthur said, "I'm glad I know someone equally as pretty to share it with."
With that said, he kissed Guinevere.
"I bet you knew full well that's what I wanted to do here in the first place," He said afterwards.

[Warhaven]

"I had a good guess." Guinevere grinned, holding his hand.

"Next week, you might get to help us show off how awesome we are." Guinevere enthused, looking forward to spending even more time with Arthur. She couldn't even hear Elru in her mind at the moment, she was certain that had to mean something, but she didn't care.

"That does sound cool," Arthur enthused, "I can't wait to see you do your stuff."

[Warhaven]

"You're just gonna have to wait until its next week." Guin promised.

[The Floor Kippers]

"Don't you worry," Arthur said, "I will be there, no matter what."

[Warhaven]

As they talked in the garden...

"I believe the gods, Nigel, Elizabeth, Spiridon, and Varence here should be informed of Elru on our side. Tonight, I'll call my father, and after screaming at him irrationally for an hour, hour and a half, find out who he'll inform on his side, certainly the imperial family at the very least." Lara said.

"Couldn't you just do it without the irrational screaming?" Jack asked.

"No, no I can't. I'm too mad at him for not telling me." Lara said.

"Just remember Lara, while you have been in ignorance, he's had to live with this knowledge for many years," Adela said.

"I'll arrange a secret emergency meeting with Sir Nigel later on," King Matthew said.

[Warhaven]

"I'll let you know what conclusions my father's reached in the morning. Unless your meeting is real super-late, in which case I'll go to the meeting and fill everyone in there." Lara said.

"Probably super late, like, tomorrow in the small hours," Matthew said, "So you'll probably be able to join us."

[Warhaven]

And there, Lara would reveal that not only did Red feel utterly horrible about what happened, but that he'd also inform The Miller and Whiteshadow family, The Warhaven Gods, Calbrena and her family, plus a few notable immortals and the Royal Aquamarinians. He also laid in plans for testing how strong Elru made Guin next week when all the clans convened.

....

Later that day, after Red had informed people...

The Miller and Whiteshadow families had left on a camping trip they'd previously planned to take together. Pondera had personally packed the tents and sleeping bags, Sarah Angel promised to take care of food, supplies, and weather. Jezeel promised good eating on the trip.

So it was they were hiking through the Yanclalan Mountain range, far from technology, from civilization, from anyone who cared who they were.

Pondera lead the way on the trail.

"This is a secret spot from my childhood you see. A shame circumstances kept me away all these years." Pondera said as he hiked along.

"What has kept you away dad?" Susan asked.

[Warhaven]

"Well, first my parents were busy, then after I got older, I'd completely forgotten about it. I found an old photo album the other day that reminded me, and here we are." Pondera said, heading up a mountain.

"Where is it?" Sara asked.

"Two of us are tired?" Melody complained.

They yelped in surprise when Sam simply picked them up, slung them over his shoulders, and carried them in addition to the pack he was carrying.

"Show off," William and Dexal muttered together as they hiked on.

[Warhaven]

"Weaklings." Nyx of all people muttered right back at them.

"At least their not muscle bound brutes." Karesh growled right back.

"At least they aren't hard-headed stubborn...." Ziella said. But that was all the further she got as rows of silver tape suddenly appeared over her mouth.

"Now, if you can't behave, I'll silence all of you." Sarah Angel said.

"And who made you moderator?" Jezebel snapped.

"ENOUGH!" Pondera bellowed with enough force to shake the mountain they were on.

"We're nearly there." he said as they topped a ridge to a beautiful valley, with a lake shimmering in the sunlight, wild fruits, vegetables, and even some nice meaty wild animals running around.

"Oh Pondera, It's gorgeous," Carol sighed.
