The Emperor gets on the pulpit, and the Vizier sits next to him. Heidar is in Beirut. The Emperor begins his speech;

"All men ... are NOT created equal! Some are born swifter afoot, some with greater beauty, some are born into poverty and others born sick and feeble. Both in birth and upbringing, in sheer scope of ability every human is inherently different; Yes that is why people discriminate against one another, which is why there is struggle, competition and the unfaltering march of progress. Inequality is not wrong, equality is. What of the Indians. which made equality a right? Rabble politics by a popularity contest. The South Americans with theer equal distribution of wealth? A nation of lazy dullards. But not our beloved Britanania, we fight, we compete, evolution is continuous. Britanania alone moves forward, advancing steadily into the future, our conquest of New Zealand, demonstrates Britannia unswerving commitment to progress. We will fight on, we shall struggle, compete, plunder and dominate and in the end the future shall be ours. ALL HAIL BRITANANIA!!!!!"

The crowd cheers The Emperor and salutes him with cries of "ALL HAIL BRITANANIA!"

*as the crowd is cheering, Winheart jumps on the stage, pulls out his gun, and shoots the Vizier in the head, and the emperor in the chest, he turns towards the stunned crowd, holds up his hand with the gun in it and speaks*
Winheart: People of the world! I have just freed you all from tyranny! I have killed the evil tyrant! I have brought peace to this world! I will be killed though! I know this for a fact that my blood will cross paths with their blood in a few moments, but let me say this! I only did this to free the world! I will go down in history as a man as evil as Gavrilo Princip, or John Wilks Booth, or Lee Harvy Oswald, but know this! I have saved you all! I am your savoir! Now! which among you will strike down your savoir!? Will it be that man!? or that Women!?
*He holds out his arms and waits for his death*

The Imperial guard apprehend him, for interrigation later. All exists are secured by the Guard as medics rush to The Emperor. The event was televized, and the whole world knows immediately what happened. The people are outraged at the assailant.

The Guard takes Winheart away, the do not wish for him to become a martyr. A State of Emergency is enacted, and Heidar becomes acting Emperor. Pendragon is cut off from the outside world and people panic in the streets, attacking foreigners who they do not know. The cameras were shut off after shut Winheart was apprehended and sedated. The Emperor is rushed to St. Anthony Clinic, while the Vizier was declared dead at the theater.

Heidar comes to Pendragon to take over. The Emperor's family is taken to the Palace by the Imperial Guard "Achilles Division".
In the Clinic, the surgeons begin their examination. Thanks to his kevlar, he will live. But the bullet is in his sternum, so an operation is needed.

*Winheart remains knocked out*
*In Eastern Europe, the Czech Republic and Slovakia reunite into Czechoslovakia with the communist rule*

Britanania announces that it is doubling its already powerful military of one million.

Heidar takes the reigns and begins an investigation into the assasination attempt and announces to the public what has happened on international television and explains that justice will be dealt.

The Emperor is unfergoing a difficult surgery, and his chances of survival are slim...

Winheart wakes up strapped to a table...

Heidar, not knowing The Emperor's real prognosis, lies to the people and tell them he will live indefinitlely. This quells the riots.

The Marshals meet and discuss the possibility of war, as SCORPIA has informed them that Winheart had been in Communist territory before the Parade.

Heidar gives a speech, stating that August First will forever live in infamy.

A week passes, and the threat of war grows due to fear, suscpition and revenge.
