I walk into the hall, golden cane in hand. I have recovered from my headache of last night. And, arriving during the night, my 16 year old son and heir to the throne of Vergenskia, Károly, to observe the way a true ruler is to handle foreign relations. "This, my boy, is will be the beginning of a true peace." I say to him. "Are you sure, father?" He asks me. "I can't be more sure." I reply.

1330 8 August 2058. Palermo, Sicily

The Emperor and the High Command entered the Palazzo del Normanni. The High Command went off to their posts while Tarkin, Lelouch, and Rosaline entered the Main Hall. Tarkin in his typical black uniform walked in first, embracing his friend Erno.

"It is good to see you Old Friend," he exclaimed.

Rosaline then entered in a stunning black court dress, full of jewlry.

The Emperor walked in last, in a white military uniform, of a Colonel.

*Entering the building where President Nicolas Corrigan, Secretary of State Irene Rosanburg, Secretary of Defense Alan McCoy, and Field Marshal Alex Tyler. They where also accompanied by several Federal agents.*

Ross: "Listen, we just need to ask you a few questions. Now, answer honestly and my friend here won't hurt you alright?"
Ivanov: *He was messing around with some box like item with wires coming out of it.*
Ross: "Now tell me what you know about these men." *He held up a picture of a group of Turkish looking men.*

"Jó napot, mindenkinek." I say as everyone walks into the hall. "Antal would be here, but he's too busy beating the Russians to a pulp in Rostov, so I just had my boy come along."

"Jó napot, Uriam." Károly says, bowing his head.

"Good, now that we've all arrived, it is time we discuss some business," the Emperor began, as he and his collegues sat at the confrence table.

Ross: "I know you're not Turkish but we have reason to believe that you know about these men, and in case you are going to act dumb then let me remind you. In 2026, during the peace negotiations for the Vergenskian conflict, bombs went off in Vienna and a suburb of Cleveland. The men responsible are a Turkish extremist group known as the Ottoman Resurgence Group. We have found out that you supplied them with materials, now speak!"

"Yesterday a Britananian Army Liberated Tokyo and has since then began routing the Chinese Army in Japan. Similarly, a NATO led team invaded Indochina while Rostov has been invaded by Vergenskia and Baghdad recaptured from the Persians. This war is coming to an end with these recent gains and the continous attacks on our opponents.

"The Russians have surprised us with the revealing of a mobile super-fortress, but their plight is in vain. Our jets and tanks are pounding them with APRs and bunker busters. They won't be around much longer."

Corrigan: "And recent reports from the CIA and South African's suggest that Addis Ababa shall fall shortly as well."

Ross: "The CIA uncovered information tying you to them. Now speak, my friend here had a good friend die in those attacks and really wants revenge."

"Victory is close at hand, it seems my Friends," the Emperor regarded.

"Il Palazzo del Normanni shall serve as the Alled High Command for the duration of the war. Grand Vizier Tarkin has been working on the Treaty that shall prove to be a step forward and to prevent the disater that was the end of the last Great War. When the last of our enemies surrender, we shall convne in Barcelona to sign the Treaty."

De Ville smiled.

"Just becasue I do business with someone doesn't mean I know their intentions. How can you not be certain that other, more sinister groups support this organization?"

"Excellent. For once in almost half a century, we will have everything under control and all will be at peace." I say with a smile.

Tarkin returns the smile.

"Hopefully. I believe this concludes this meeting. Good luck and God Speed, my Friends. Victory is close at hand."

"Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to take my son around Palermo so we can both take in the scenery."

"Of course. It is a lovely City, founded by my ancestors, in fact," the Emperor exclaims.

The Council has convened again, this time with all members present. There was a sense of terror in the Council; Nemo stood standing over them as an angry God would.

Corrigan: "ah, how nice. Lily and the kids will love it. They've been touring the city today and I think I'll join them. Alan, Irene, Charles, you are all free to do what you want"

*The men all sat watching Nemo. No one spoke, most looked afraid, Beaumont looked indifferent, Du Pont however was excited to be there. He was a fanatical supporter of Nemo.*

Ross: *his expression suddenly darkened* "There IS another, more sinister group and that is why we need you."
*he pulled up a picture on the computer, it showed De Ville, two Turkish men, and another man standing in the background*
Ross: "During this transaction you met a Frenchmen right? Did he say his name?"

Lelouch nodded.

"Yes, that is fine. Il Palazzo del Normanni, my official residence in Sicily, shall be your home. Me Cassa et tu Cassa."

Nemo had his back to the Council for some time, tension building, fear rising. When he at last turned towards them, he towered over. In his pure black armour, he stood over 2 meters in height.

"Since we have last convened, several things have been accomplished," he began

Traian gulps and asks, "What... What would those be?"

Ferenc Nagy, fighting with the Russian Rebellion, is currently being pummeled by one of the super-fortresses in Rostov. Then he gets the idea to disguise himself. He goes to the side of the building that's completely empty and waits for a Russian soldier...

Vicereine Rosaline whispered something in the Emperor's ear. He nodded, and the Countess excussed herself.

Rosaline caught up with Erno and his son.

"Your Excellency, Monseigneur Erno," she began in her polite voice, "may I have a word?"

"The Liberation of Japan by the Britananian Army is on schedule, as is the progress of the Battle of Rostov. However, one thing is amiss."

As Nemo uttered the last of his sentence, silence fell upon the Council Chamber.

I turn to the Vicereine and say, "Yes, madam?"

Károly looks at her and just glares. Why the hell are you intruding? He thinks to himself.

"Excellent..." Traian says with a smirk.

"But what's the one thing awry?" Asks Daphne

"His Imperial Majesty wishes to know if he may purchase some land in the Southern Carpathians," Rosalne inquired.

"Baghdad, has fallen sooner than planned. Recent reports have indicated the city has been recaptured by the Allies not 1 hour ago. News has not even reached the Allied High Command in Sicily."

"Ah. What would be the reason for that?" I ask.

Károly just rolls his eyes at the two.

"Hell, and its just a matter of time until it reaches Palermo." Traian retorts.

Rosaline looks briefly at the Prince before answering.

"His Majesty wishes to build a Holiday Residence in the Carpathians"

"Yes, and this complicates the greater part of the campaign as a result of the incompotence of the Persian Army"

"That seems acceptable. I will have a few men go with him to choose the location when he feels. Experts of the area."

Károly notices the glance, but still continues to glare, unwavering from the Vicereine.

Traian rubs the back of his neck and grits his teeth nervously.

"And what will be done about this...?" Daphne asks cautiously

The Vicereine curtsied.

"Merci beacoup, Your Excellency. His Majesty wishes to purchase about 500 square acres."

Nemo looked around the room. These were men of great power and prestige, and here they were, frightened of this one man. He smiled under his helm. It was time to remind them why they should fear him.
