*suddenly the ground began to tremble just outside of the city. The sound of something massive advancing towards Rostov could be heard. Commander Zhukov laughed as the sound was heard.*

Ethiopia, August 7th. 1400 local time
*Jackson spotted an ammo dump and began shooting at it. The Dump exploded. He smirked to himself and continued firing. The attack was going well so far. They would touch down on the ground soon and begin the ground assault.*

Sydney, Australia
*NEO ships from the Pacific fleet had begun to land in Australia that morning. Admiral Ganon had stepped off his ship and found the Australian Army general waiting for him. The two greeted each other and then started to walk towards a car, which was taking them to a base in the city where they would discuss a battle plan for the invasion of China.*

1330 7 August 2058. Pendragon, Empire of Britanania

The Emperor, Tarkin, and the other Ministers of the Empire arrived at the Balcony in the Parliment Building overlooking Empire Square. Even though the Domed building was the largest dome in the world-able to fit the Empire State Building inside the Dome-the Balcony was only a few hundred feet in the air, just enough to overlook the whole square. Micro-phones and loundspeakers were set up in preperation for the Emperor's speech.


0530 8 August. Tokyo, Japan.

For the past month, Chinese Occupied Japan has been just as bombarded as China by Britananian missiles and bombs. From its base in Manila, the Britananian Navy has easily been able to attack, and Tokyo has almost been completely destroyed. The Japanese Resistence, in union with the Empire of Britanania, had already led the civilians to safety, before the attacks began.

But now, with weakened defenses, the Chinese honestly believe that the Empire would invade Chian first, thanks to small insurrections already made by SCORPIA and their short raids. However, this has now been proven false by the apperance of the Britananian Navy in Tokyo Bay.

*Several Ohioan reporters where in Pendragon to hear the Emperors speech. Among those present was the foreign ambassador to Britanania, The Ohioan secretary of state, and...Head of the Police of NEO, General Du Pont.

Off the Coast of Vietnam
*Australian, New Zealandic, Ohioan, and Thai ships sat in the South China sea, waiting for news from the Britananian's in Vietnam to give them the go ahead to invade. They soon got word that the invasion of Japan had begun and Insurgents in Tibet have begun rioting. The invasion would begin soon.*

Ethiopia, August 7th. 1400 local time
*Soon the helicopters touched down and Jackson grabbed his rifle and stepped out of the Chopper. He met McParsons, Richards, Stern, and two new men to their team, South African Robert Vermaak and a Russian defector Vasili Baturin*
Vermaak: "Ah, beautiful day here isn't it men? Good day to put a bullet in these war pigs."
McParsons: "Look, we're here to end this war quickly, not enrage more Ethiopians. Stop the insults and get to work.*
*Richards whispered to Jackson* "He's in a cheery mood." *The group then began walking towards the city.*

1335 7 August 2058. Pendragon, Empire of Britanania

The Emperor looked at the massive crowd before raising his right hand, to create silence.

"My fellow Britananians, my humble colleagues from the Federation of North East Ohio and other delegates. A year and 4 months ago, on one of the Holiest Days in the Christian Calendar, a conflict began that has spread its evil wings over the Earth. Though we did not wish it, the Empire of Britanania was brought into this War, and it is part of our duty to help end it."

He paused for a few moments.

"Since the begining of the War, we have driven the Communists out of the Fatherland and in cnjunction with the Empire of France, invaded the Persian occupied United Arab Republic. Our forces in Britananian India have also engaged the Persians in the East and have held of the Chinese invasion, holding New Delhi against incredible odds. We mourn their sacrafices."

Pause.

"For the past 6 months, our bombers and ships have bombarded China and Occupied Japan in an attempt to weaken the enemies' defenses. Our military, secretly ammasing in Manila, has not 5 minutes ago began the campaign in East Asia by landing in Tokyo..."

0535 8 August. Off the Coast of Vietnam

SCORPIA agents in Chinese occupied Vietnam have done all they could to make the Occupiers lives' hell. There were many Britananians who still lived in Vietnam, and they assisted as well. Now the time had come for NEO to invade. A flare went off, bright red in the early morning. The signal was sent.

*The crowd cheers when they hear the news of the invasion of Tokyo. The Britananian's cheer because the time for revenge is near and the Ohioan's cheer for the thought of independence and soon the liberation of their Manchurian brothers and sisters who for too long have been kept under Chinese occupation.*

0535 8 August. Vietnam
*When the flares went off around Vietnam the Allies began the attack. The Navy began bombarding the coast line while Lao, Ohioan, and Burmese troops began an invasion into Vietnam from Laos. It was one of the largest invasions ever. Most of the Ohioan military had been stationed over in Laos and Australia for a while now, getting ready for the counter offensive. Top Ohioan Generals determined that the Chinese would not last very long in Vietnam.*

0535 8 August. Seoul, Korea
*With the news of the invasions of Japan and Vietnam, Rebels began attacking Seoul. Violent clashes in the streets between Korean's and Chinese had begun. It was time for liberation.*

*A taxi pulls up on the street. Someone goes over and opens the window and sees two women step out of the taxi. One of them a teenage girl and the other an older woman, apparently the girl's mother. The man, not thinking goes outside and hugs the girl, he hadn't seen his daughter in years.*
Man: "Alice! What are you doing here?"
Alice: "Me and mom just returned from Albania!"
*Another man stepped out of the house*
Man: "Johnson! Get in here! we can't let people know you live here!"
*Johnson walked with his daughter and her mother to the house.*

Johnson: "Damn you all to hell! Who are you!?"

1340 7 August 2058. Pendragon, Empire of Britanania

The Emperor raised his hand again, to call for silence.

"The fight is going to be a long one, a hard fight for the liberation of both our ally Japan, and for the oppressed people in all of East Asia. I tell you here, the war will be over by Christmas, and we will accpet nothing less than an unconditional surrender from China and Persia. ALL HAIL BRITANANIA!"

0540 8 August. Tokyo, Japan

The Britananian Army and the Japanese Resistence make their way from the Bay and into the decimated streets of Tokyo. The intense Britananian bombings and missile strikes had already reduced the Chinese defenses to almost nothing, and the sudden attack in the early morning has taken the Chinese off guard. The timing of the attack has given them the element of surprise, as the alarms have not yet gone off. The Resistence, in comunication with the Britananians, have cut power to the city.

The men laugh hysterically.

"This is Hell."

The men begin to brutally beat Johnson as the elctricity increases

*The crowd chants back "All Hail Britanania! All hail the Allies!" A few Ohioan journalists prepare their notepads for they will have questions for the emperor.*

0540 8 August. Tokyo, Japan
*The Chinese forces are completely caught off guard and are completely disorganized. The few organized troops in Tokyo try to attack the advancing Britananian's but to no avail. The Britananian's have done what the Chinese tried to do in Britananian only this time, the Britananian's will be successful.*

*When they enter the house, the two women find a house full of computers and other monitors. On the walls are patches and medals from conflicts that Johnson had participated in.*
Johnson: "Come, make yourself at home. You need anything Alice? Christina?"
Alice: "No thanks dad." *she went and sat on the couch*

Baghdad. 8 August
*The scene was very fimiliar to the Persian army only this time, they where on the defensive. French, Arab, Israeli, and Turkish troops had pushed the Persians back to Baghdad where the conquest of the Arab world seemed to hang on the defense of the city. If Baghdad feel, the Persian's would have to retreat back to Persia and would be utterly doomed.*

Johnson: *he breathed very heavily. He thought he was on the verge of death.* "P-please stop...I'll do anything..."

The Emperor spoke out in his loud, bombing voice.

"I shall now take questions from the audience."

0545 8 August. Tokyo, Japan

As the Infantry take over the Bay area, Britananian Knightmares arrive from the ships, and begin the typical Britananian style of swift attacks on the enemy armour and bases.

Baghdad. 8 August

The time for revenge had come. Britananian Marshal Heidar and French Marshal De ville smiled as their combined artillery pound the Perisan Defenses, as bombers fly overhead.

The men do not seem to hear his pleas, as some of the men rape Johnson.

*an Ohioan reporter raised his hand.*
Reporter: "Your highness, many people back in Ohio have been wondering, have post war plans been made out by the allies yet or will we expect the same thing that happened at the end of World War III?"

0545 8 August. Tokyo, Japan
*With the Knightmares beginning their attack the Chinese are almost utterly doomed. With little resorces in Japan because of the precieved threat to the mainland the Chinese start to quickly fall back from Tokyo.*

Baghdad. 8 August
Persian AA guns begin firing at the bombers but it is no use. The bombers and artillery have already begun destroying most of the defenses. Israeli and Turkish forces have begun to come in from the North while arming Kurdish rebels to help in the invasion.*

"The mistakes my Father, His Imperial Majesty Napoleon IV, and the mistakes made by the NEO leadership will not again happen. We have learned from the failures of old."

0550 8 August. Tokyo, Japan


With the Chinese more or less routed, and the Japanese Resistence blocking their exit, the Chinese forces are being decimated. The battle willbe over in less than an hour, the military reports back.

Baghdad. 8 August


Amidst the artillery and bombing attacks, French armour and Britananian Knightmares begin attacking the Persian walls.

The leader sneers at Johnson.

*another reporter raised his hand*
Reporter: "Sir...might we expect the use of nuclear weapons on any of the enemy countries?"
*General Du Pont looked through the crowd. He saw several people he recognized and smirked to himself.*

0550 8 August. Tokyo, Japan
*The Chinese on the island make one last ditch attempt to gain the upper hand...they called in the Russian's in East Asia. They radioed for the Russian East Asian fleet to come and help. The Russian's agreed to send a small force.*

Baghdad. 8 August
*while the French, Britananian, Israeli, and Turkish forces attacked the outside defenses, Arab and Kurdish rebels inside the city began revolting against the Persians. The Persians started to throw everything they've got at the allies. Some where even trying to engage in hand to hand combat now.*

*Johnson gave Christina and Alice a tour of his house. All around the house where monitors and medals. There where pictures as well. Pictures of him and some old friends. He had a map of the world up, there where thumbtacks in certain areas, one in Armenia, one in China, one in Uzbekistan, several in Britanania, a few in Egypt, etc. There was also something he kept hanging on the wall, it was a piece of cloth with a strange emblem on it, not an emblem any one had ever seen before.*

*Johnson is whipped and although he lets out cry's of pain, afterwards he goes silent again.*

"It is among the concensus of the Imperial Staff that the Britananian military will do its best to avoid such an action, at all cost."

0555 8 August. Tokyo, Japan

The Britananian military intercepts the radio broadcast, but makes no immediate move, as the Russian troops will take time to arrive. The Knightmares push the last of the Chinese out of Tokyo, as the infantry take command of the city. Preprations for the main campaign begin.

The murderous assault continues on the City's defenses.

After a long wait, the Vergenskian Military can finally be seen over the ridge, over looking the valley surrounding Rostov. Artillery from the hills begins to pound the city.

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia

"Attention my brothers and sisters of the Kingdom. I am here to remove any and all rumors of the recent military actions outside and inside the Union."

*several more reporters asked questions to the emperor.
*While this was happening, General Du Pont looked at his watch and began to walk off, to an unknown location.*

0555 8 August. Tokyo, Japan
*With the Chinese out of Tokyo things where starting to look bad for the Chinese forces. Most started to surrender or move north, awaiting Russian assistance*

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.
*Suddenly, from the distance, A massive tank breaks through the clearing. The tank seems more like a moving fortress. It had a large cannon on it and several smaller machine guns with men arming them. The tank then shot a shell at the ridge.*

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia
*A crowd of nervous Hungarians watched. They where afraid that something was going to happen. They believed that the Vonalzo had finally snapped and was going to kill them all.*

*Johnson was still only barely alive and very weak when they dragged him outside. He looked over and saw Regis, Winheart, and Ross on the ground, they looked just as bad.*

"Britanania has often been viewed as tyrnannical by the world. There is some merit to those statements, yet it is not the whole truth. We all wish for a better world, but there are different philosophies to approach it.

The Social Democrats believe that the government should solve the problems of the world. Communists believe workers should run the world. Republicans advocate represntation to all people.

Governments CAN assist in problems. Workers SHOULD have a say in decison making. 'Taxation without representation' IS tyrannical.

The Britananian model, currently and to be perfected upon, is based on meritocracy; the people who work the best, perform the best, and are the best should recieve the best jobs, pay, and benifitts.

It is ludicrious for me to believe you all will adopt this model, or even accept it as valid. We understand this. Yet you may look at the Empire, and see this model has been working.

We understand it is very flawed, and I am about to present a proposal for the future of our domestic policy..."





0600 8 August. Tokyo, Japan

The Britananian Infantry now had full control of Tokyo, and with the Resistence Forces, began establishing the military permiter and HQ. The Britananian fleet docked at the Bay to give supplies. The Knightmares, however, continued to chase the retreating Chinese

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.

A tank commander has enough time to yell, "What the hell is that?!" before three tanks are obliterated by the shell.

Fekete makes the open order to fire. The simultaneous sound of the tanks being loaded reaches the city. He yells into the radio, "FIRE!" All the tanks surrounding the city fire their guns. One hundred or more shells fire toward the tank, not knowing what would happen.

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia

"I know you've heard the incident in Belgrád and I am here to announce, the assaulters were NOT Vergenskian military, police, para-military or militia. They were a terrorist group hell-bent to destroy our great Union."

1400 7 August 2058. Pendragon, Britanania
*Everyone in the crowd listened eagerly to hear this new idea.*

0600 8 August. Saigon, Vietnam
*While the Britananian's and Japanese Resistance where taking control of Japan from the retreating Chinese, the Pacific Allies had advanced into Saigon and where making good gains on the city. Most of the civilians had joined the side of the Allies. The fighting started to turn to brutal hand to hand combat in the streets, a few tanks attacked each other and allied helicopters flew over, destroying ground targets.*

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.
*Inside the Tank/Fortress the Russians inside where knocked around by the shelling, but the tank was able to continue moving. Soon two others appeared and they too shot their massive shells at the Vergenskians. The Machine guns on the tanks also began firing on them.*

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia
*The crowd continued to listen, some shock their heads and simply thought the Vonalzo was doing anything to remain in power now, Most of the Population in Hungary sided with the Government.*

*Johnson looked down the barrel of the gun that was about to end his life, with a final prayer he closed his eyes. Just then a bullet went through the skull of the soon to be executioner. Johnson turned around and saw the same thing happen to Regis's executioner. He turned and saw a group of men coming towards them. Johnson's jubilation was soon ended when he saw that his saviors where Russians. The Russians came over and aimed their guns at Johnson and Regis. Johnson could not see Ross or Winheart anywhere. Another man came over to Johnson, he was about to speak when another of the Russian's hit him in the back of the head, knocking him out. The Russians then knocked out Regis, and then Johnson.*

"All of what I am to say will be implemented with in 5 years. South America is to be given full independence, with each of the nations having a Britananian style Constitution to make an easy transition. 10% of each nation's GDP will be paid to Britanania.
Each Area will have its original name returned and be called a Viceroyalty; Area 1 will become the Viceroyalty of North America, and so forth. The numbers system is hereby abolished and each person living in the Empire will be given full citizenship. Sectors will be revised.

Restrictions on the 1st Amendment will be abolished.

The military will be cut 50% by 2065.

The 18th and 20th Amendments are to be repealed."

"Gah!" Fekete screams in frustration. "Bring in the bombers and grind them to dust!" He screams.

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia

"I would never kill my own people. I fought for their independence and freedom of a Tyrant that once did this to them. Do you not remember? I am the only voice of reason here? They want me gone for their own, corrupt agenda. I am here not only to save Vergenskia, but to each and ever one of you in the Union!"

*There was much clapping in the crowd, and while that was going on reporters wrote in their pads*

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.
*The fortresses continued advancing towards the Vergenskians, they blasted shells and bullets at them. A backdoor opened and soldiers started pouring out of them to help fight on the ground.*

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia
*The crowd cheered for the Vonalzo. But then from the crowd someone shouted through a megaphone, he spoke with an Albanian accent.*
Man: "You idiot! Haven't you seen! We do not want to be ruled by you Hungarian Imperialist pigs! We want our freedom from your evil and corrupted government! You have for too long oppressed us and now we are taking matters into our own hands!"

0700, 8 August, 2058. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
*The South African's and CIA operatives enter the city and begin their attack.*

As the crowd continued their cheers, the Emperor raised his hand to silence them.

"And I give this to the citizens of Earth; I will accept nothing less than an Unconditional Surrender from our enemies!"

The room was dark, but enough light existed for the Council to see their Leader. A confrence table, with various men, was in the center of the room. All eyes were focused on the dark-clad figure at the table's head.

"Welcome, Gentlemen."

The voice was distorted from the ebony helmet that covered it, but the cold, terrible sound it made sank into the Council's heart.

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.

The Vergenskian armour goes down the valley and toward the massive fortresses. If they can get to the belly of the tanks, they would be gone.
Meanwhile - The bombers are coming...

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia

"You all must remember how you all were before the Grand Union. You all were in a crippling depression which many of the citizens were considering bankruptcy. Vergenskia saved you all. Do you not realize how the Union helped you all? Was it better then than it is now?"

The hulking figure smiled behind his helmet as the Council squirmed under his gaze. He paced around his spot in the table, hands behind his back.

"Welcome, Gentlemen," he repeated,"Albanian Governor Dafina Shehu, Romanian Governor Traian Popescu, Grand Ayatollah Ali Jafari, General Wu Tang, Marshal Heidar, Viceroy Lopez, President Asinov, King Solomon, General Beaumont, President Wolsheim. General Du Pont could not make it today, but we shall brief him later."

The Council nodded. It was rare the Council ever convened, what was one member gone?

"To begin, this war is coming to an end. The League of Empires and their allies will have achieved victory by next month"

Asimov, Wu Tang, and Jafari looked shocked. They thought their war was going well.

"The 'Unconditional Surrender' the Britananian Emperor wishes will be achieved, and you will all be horrified by how he achieves it..."

1410 7 August 2058. Pendragon, Empire of Britanania
*The Crowd cheered loudly. It was just what the world wanted to hear right now.*

0055, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.
*The Massive fortresses continued to advance on the Vergenskian troops, destroying everything in their paths. With few weaknesses, this battle should hopefully go good for the Russians.*

2255, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia
Man: "I would rather have my peoples independence then have to serve you Hungarian pigs!"

Unknown Time. Unknown Location
Asimov: "Now wait a minute! My armies are on the verge of a major victory! With the unleashing of the Dragon tanks we will push the Vergenskian's back to their pens! Plus Vergenskia is on the brink of civil war! We can still win this!."
Wu Tang: "And if my armies can just be given a few more supplies we can keep them out of the mainland."

0100, 8 August, 2058. Rostov, Russia.

Jets scream through the air, the ground shakes with the sound of tanks, artillery shells crack the ground, naval guns shatter the air and infantry swarms everywhere. The tanks fire off shells at the lowest part of these massive fortresses. The tracks and the less armored portions of them. The coaxial LMGs on the tanks take care of the infantry streaming out of them.

Commander Fekete looks from overhead, watching the city burn.

2300, 7 August, 2058. Budapest, Hungary, Vergenskia

"No matter what the Union has done to you, what has been done to other countries, was it not better than before the Union?! I have wept and bled for my people. And the people trying to kill me, want to do the same to you! All of you! They want to plunge this world into a black abyss and you want to help them?"
