The Alliance of Socialist Republics

Introduction

Comrades in arms, brothers in the glorious Worldwide Revolution! As you threw off the tyranny of capitalism and banded together for the greater good of your individual nations, so too do we call you to throw off the yoke of loneliness and became a part of a cause greater than any individual nation. For the furtherance of our own revolutions, and the protection of the blessings of our Socialist nations, let us band together in brotherhood to defend ourselves from the aggressive world. We understand the hardships of being alone, as we have withstood them for long. But let us join together. Let us share our resources and our soldiers.

Who is This Alliance For?

The Alliance of Socialist Republics is a new, non-aggressive, defensive pact designed to protect each nation from attack by foreign aggressors. The ASR will not, unless under the direst of circumstances, launch an aggressive war. We welcome only nations who have engaged in a Socialist form of government. This does not neccesarily require full-blown socialism to have already taken place; a nation may, having had a Revolution, begin a program of socialization and collectivism, but still join the ASR. The political system attached to the Socialist form of economy is irrelevant; we will, at this time, accept any economically collectivist nation.

How to Join

Either telegram me, Fluffywuffy, or post in this thread. After doing a quick check of your nation, I will approve or disapprove of your application to join. You may also post in the Forums, located at http://allianceofsocialistrepublics.freeforums.org/

Interim Alliance Charter

I: All nations of the ASR shall have a socialist economic policy. Any member nation that, through war, revolution, or legislation fails to meet this requirement shall be considered an observer to the ASR. Observer nations shall not be counted as member states for section two of this alliance.

II: All nations of the ASR shall declare war on any nation or alliance that launches an offensive war against the ASR or any of its member nations.
III: No capitalist nation shall be a part of the ASR.

IV: The current leadership of the Alliance of Socialist Republics shall be considered to be Fluffywuffy, until a forum is created and a new Charter is devised. As leader, he shall determine whether a nation is allowed to become a member, and he shall notify all members and declare war in the event of an attack on the Alliance or a member-state pursuant to sections I and II.

Bulgislavia had a history of being an international pariah due to its Stalinist govermnent system. Bulgislavia was sick of isolationism and so this was a great oppourtunity to form an alliance. The Government sent a small set of reports to Fluffywuffy to show them how thier government operated hopefully they would be accepted

Bulgislavia's borders are completly sealed. Massive propaganda billbords also line the border facing into neighboring nations and massive loud speakers blare propaganda across the border as well

All cities are "Homogenous" due to mass construction beginning in 1975 after a massive earthquake. Due to "Socialist" city planning laws all streets must be parade friendly and be at least 4 lanes wide. During an event of war the wide streets would mean an evacuation would not clog it and military troops would still use it. Cars are banned in Bulgislavia and so the wide 6 lane, 4 lane boulavards look quite unnessasary. The street plan is symetrical and the wide boulavards are lined by identical block apartments the architecture was inspired by Pyongyang and Bucharest's unirii boulavard

The Entire nation is under state control. The media and information services are under govt control with harsh censorship

Freedom of demonstrations and protests are illegal unless sanctioned by the government

Conscription and deathpenalty take place in Bulgislavia

Cigouriva is the nations secret police. in the 80's and 90's it once boasted 1 in 4 citizens spied for Cigouriva and torture both pysical and psycological are permitted in Bulgislavia

Mehmet Ceau is the General Secretary and President of the nation elected by the Peoples Parliament with 100% of the vote to a 5 year term.

The one legal party in Bulgislavia is the Communist Party of Bulgislavia

We have been a Peoples Republic from 1946-2008 and in 2008 declared itself a "Peoples Socialist Republic"

We look foward to being accepted and joining an alliance

North Wiedna has a dictatorship currently, but it is resolving to be socialist. It is a different type of socialism, but will have a place in the Alliance.

The Alliance of Socialist Republics is happy to welcome the first member-state, Bulgislavia, into the defensive pact. We hope that this will lead to the start of big things with the ASR. We strongly encourage the Bulgislavian government to send its delegation to ASR headquarters, currently located in Rexicum, Fluffywuffy, to discuss the creation of a more permanent Charter. We would also like to welcome North Wiedna into the pact as the second nation. As with Bulgislavia, we recommend the sending of delegates to the alliance headquarters.

May we be a theological nation with a generous lean towards a state run economy and obtain membership in such an organization as this?

I spammed nothing, I was simply speaking out against Socialist ideals with the words of those who said the same thing before me.

If you would prefer a concise and descriptive essay as to why Socialism is a failed and flawed concept, look elsewhere. Otherwise, accept what you are given and listen to common sense.

You can wish for anything, that doesn't mean you will get it. That is the inherit flaw with Socialism. It's all wishing and no doing.

He is a Capitalist who is the head of a Socialist Alliance? No. That doesn't work unless he is being an extremely crafty person, which I highly doubt he is.

OOC: His NS classification has no bearing on what the policies of the government are in an RP. He could be a Corporate Bordello that has sold it's soul to the private sector, but he can still RP as a socialist nation. In any event, people need to stop making pointless comment's in Fluffywuffy's thread.

Brellach, and the Brellachi people, do not conform to partisan ideologies so rigidly as to limit its flexiblity. To us, capitalism and socialism are but theories, best to be left in books for reading than embraced for living as fully as though ordained by the Goddess Herself. But, with this said, many Brellachi people find much more wisdom and compassion in the socialist ideology than the capitalist one, which happily squanders the fertility of the true ground for the sake of currency, and lets its own people die for the same motive.

For over 800 years the people of Kopania lived under opressive Czars (1255-1917) and war torn governments so senseless that they printed money without concern for inflation (1918-1931) and cruel insane dictators that murdered innocent people and tried to take over the world (1932-1945) and corrupt capitalist governments ruled by other nations (1945-1949) but in 1949 we gained our independence from imperialism, tyranny, corruption and gained true socialism when on May 1, 1949 (May Day) our great leader Vladimir Petrov declred the United Socialist States of Kopania. So 60 years later I President Justin Ivanovich would like to ask you if kopania can join this noble alliance of socialist nations?
