OOC: This is meant to take place in the past of our nations(specifically WW1 style), so there are no nukes, jets, missiles, etc.
Rules are fairly simple;
1. no godmoding

The kingdom Garrtopia is celebrating its 350th year of monarchy. The date is August 29th, 1912. When a explosion is heard in the royal bedroom. The royal guard rush too the scene to find King Travis murdered by a suicide bomber of unknown origin. Prince Ronald take control of the thrown and mobilizes the military.

January 27th, 1914
The Nations of the world are at a peak in their power, with massive empires stretching from east to west. So much power cannot be held by one nation alone, though that hardly stops any one from trying. With power comes the urge to expand, and many are feeling that urge. as nations expand they roll over their neighbored, stripping the peoples of their country, as well as their homes, culture, and identity in the world. with this comes much resentment of the conquerors from the people, and its only a matter of time before they decide to fight back.
The danger to these nations doesn't lie with resistance alone, but a far greater danger comes from their fellow imperialists. As they grow, the nations develop large and powerful alliances, some out of genuine like for each other, others out of convenience. With friends come enemies, born from competition or from simply choosing the wrong friends.
With these massive piles of kindling stacked, all it will take is one stray ember to turn them all to ash.

Plot being similar to the assination of archduke ferdinan I suppose then I guess a Fascist group from my country could have assassinated Garrtopia's King? And you blame the only fascist country and long time enemy The Fascist States Of Kalmath.

People of Garrtopia my father was a just and nobleman after are skirmishes with Kalmath we have grown strong. I promise you once this war is done I will personally surrender the crown to the people. But until then we must fight Kalmath with all are strength.- King Ronald in his speech on the deceleration of war.

OOC: I think size is unneccesary, that is how GODMODDING gets started. Also I would like to create a map for our war, what do you think?

Kalmath mobilizes its forces for war on its shared border with Garrtopia, also calls upon its people to begin fortifying their cities. Also to join the Civil Defence Corp to help man air raid systems.

New Orcrimmar Fleet Command declares all military and merchant ships belonging to Kalmath targets to be sunk.

The New Ocrimmar navy calls all civilian ships to transport troops to the frontline and gives orders for all surface ships to start a convoy system to protect transport and merchant ships. All ship yards are to start building submarines and destroyers to combat Kalmath.

ooc: go ahead and make a map, also there really isn't that much off a call for air raid signals since aircraft weren't really appreciated until the end, but I appreciate the enthusiasm, just keep in mind that they are biplanes. or triplanes.

Palhaza has chosen to side with its neighbor and ally, Haktiva in this growing conflict, thousands of men are drafted up in the even the war grows out of proportion, though they lack training or skill, they are dedicated to die for their country.

The Fascist States Of Kalmath would like to formally appeal for allies and declares unrestricted submarine warfare on all ships headed for countrie's port which are hostile to us. We also confiscate all properties which are owned by citizens of hostile nations.

Kalmath begins funding research into chemical warfare, Kalmath begins building Vater Line a massive fortified system of forts and trenches, Kalmath moves railway guns to hurl rounds in near Garrtopian cities.

The New Orcrimmar submarine U-17 comes into contact with 2 Kalmath dreadnoughts.

Emperor Robert Bruce IV had arrived at the Kingston Proving Ground, where most of New Korongo's military technology is tested. Today would be the test of a modified version of the Remington Model 8 that fires the .303 British round. "So why is this better than our Lee Enfields" the Emperor asked.
"It is the semi-automatic mode of fire Sir, there is no need for the user to cycle a bolt, they can just pull..." The man was interrupted by the firing of the modified Model 8, after ten pulls of the trigger the ten round magazine was depleted, "they can just pull the trigger every time they wish to fire" the man continued.
"Why have we not used this technology earlier" the Emperor asked.
"some of our generals believe that the weapons will jam more than the Lee Enfield" the man answered.
"well it obviously works, lets have a trial run, issue five hundred to our troops and once we get reports from them we can decide which action to take" the Emperor ordered as he walked back to the car.

The Olthenian public is shocked, shocked, to learn of the sinking of the venerable passenger liner Lady Forlorn by what all accounts claim to be a Kalmath u-boat. The final death toll is rumoured to be in the hundreds, and amongst them is the famous actress and vaudeville veteran Juliette Peltiér, the darling of Cao Lan's high society. Within hours, the Olthenian Foreign Ministry is rattling its proverbial saber and demanding immediate reparations and apologies from the Kalmath government!

Haktivan troops have taken position along the Kalmath border after taking heavy casualties after trying to take a nearby town. hundreds of men have already taken position at the frontline trench.
