Again, I really don't want military conflict with Lyras. It's his allies I have the biggest IC problem with. They are setting a terrible precedence that I think should be seen as a threat to many many organizations. I think many are joining for an easy win, or to impose anti-sovereignty ideals. The fact that Lyras is involved seems to be making others not want to get involved, which I think is deplorable, especially when the stand can be taken against his allies alone.

Actually it isn't anti sovereignty its common sense. If you invade a country you don't leave the government that started it in charge. You destroy and rebuild a friendly one *Cough Germany Cough*.

Most of the Pro-Lyras camp are either looking for glory or are actually there because he is a slave nation. I don't care as I don't practice slavery, but I don't actively interfere in other nations business to stop it.

@Blade, I'll get the pics but the idea is that it's a modern-day "Remember the Alamo" message if you know what I'm talking about. If not then here you go:

The video starts out with some nice, pretty pictures of happy families and beautiful scenery. Then the message moving across a picture of a mountain saying "This is your home...". The four pictures are shown at the same time of business people, a family, an elderly couple, and a smiling soldier. The message "..Your people...". Then my flag with the message "...Your Greaterland!" Then pictures of a burning city and dying civilians. Then this guy's flag the Voreosian Union with "But they are in danger!". A picture of some soldiers landing on a beach followed by "For the Voreosian scum have landed!" A picture of some royal coffin wih the message "They've killed your people! Burned your homes! Murdered your Emperor! And are destroying your Empire!" going over it. The two pictures side by side of a bunch of rubble and ruins and some mass burial. This should be immediately followed by "REMEMBER NORTEDA! REMEMBER NORSRAVIJIHELM! REMEMBER PORSHRATH LORALD! REMEMBER NEW DELEMA! REMEMBER EASDALO!" in rapid succession. Then somehow take the emblem on this flag Novusland and cover it with black spots like bullet holes. That should be the next picture with this text over it "Fill the Are with Aldarminian lead!" And make sure "Are" is spelled like that. It's not the actual air but a play on words. The last image should be my flag. The last messages are one after the other. "And join the War Effort today!" "And Preserve Our Empire!" "[insert my motto]"

If that's too hard for some reason then it's alright you don't have to do it. I just kinda thought it'd be cool and a little extra detail for my history. Feel free to do some "artistic editing" if you have to.

And what constitutes a tyrant... I dare say, you are talking to monarchies and empires, some of whom are authoritarian and are also slavers...

Tyrant as in they abuse their absolute power. Anyone who treats their people like crap really. And BTW we kinda had a little unwritten agreement not to get involved in each other's business about slavery. I think it was because two people were about to go to war and we didn't want the alliance getting ripped apart. It was in the early, cluttered beginnings of the SEC. I'm not actually going to war against GT, but since I rely on Lyras and a lot of his allies on for military equipment and since I'm part of an alliance with anti-slave ideaologies, I'm going to go up against the slaver state. The moment the SEC as a whole has an opinion on slavery is the moment it doesn't become the Sovereign Empires Coalition. I'm apart of this alliance because Aldarminia is an empire and does believe in sovereignty. It just places human rights above sovereignty.

I was advocating the attack or condemnation of Lyras's allies, not Lyras himself.... but I'm really over it. He's not a Pact member anymore, NS players are dicks, and so the world turns and I get to push around my imaginary subjects another day.


(although I really think SOMEBODY should EVENTUALLY stand up to this hypocritical anti-sovereignists... they are really showing how bad many organizations have atrophied, and are being a bit of bullies)

There is a perfectly vallid casus belli for that war. Greater Tezdrian stole money from Lyras would you want him to just shrug that of? Besides since when has Greater Tezdrian, or the Steel Pact for that matter, been good at respecting other nation's sovereignity.

Lol'd. You want sovereignty, go to the Sovereign Empires Coalition; it's kind of their thing. The SP is an anti-commie pact I believe, and the C.P.A is about expanding empires and helping newer nations.
