- June 20, 1663: [Minnysota] French settlers get permission from the French crown to begin settling in the areas known today as Afghanistan. Colonizers flock to the new area and begin overthrowing the tribal governments of the locals in order to set up an organized government.
- August 17, 1704: [Minnysota] In order to compete with the French presence in Afghanistan, England begins to occupy large tracks of land in modern day Pakistan and Northern India. Both British and English settlers begin to displace the natives as the majority.
- January 1731: [Minnysota] Colonials in Pakistan, now the ethnic and numerical majority, revolt against British rule. During the war, many of the remaining natives are persecuted by both sides and are often killed.
- March 1738: [Minnysota] The revolution in Pakistan ends in a stalemate, but a new British king grants the colonials independence in order to prevent further economic and military loss. Estimates put the native casualties at 84% killed during the revolution, with a further 11% being brutally killed under the first government in Pakistan.
- December 1751: [Minnysota] In order to prevent a revolution in Afghanistan, the French crown places French Colonial troops within their territorial borders. However, this movement exacerbates relations with nationalists in Afghanistan. Violence breaks out but it is initially blamed on the natives. French troops execute six hundred natives over the course of a week because of the acts.
- January 1752: [Minnysota] French colonials in Afghanistan launch attacks on crown troops and on native settlements in the country. Over the course of the month, thirty troops are killed while combined violence against the natives kills over 2,000.
- August 1752: [Minnysota] A full-scale revolution breaks out between a colonial militia and the crown troops. The colonials hide in the mountains and go down at night to attack crown troops, resulting in massive casualties. However, crown troops move into the night and begin systematically wiping out all forms of civilization. Native populations suffer the most from this movement.
- March 1760: [Minnysota] Crown troops are pulled out of Afghanistan and recognition is given to Afghanistan as an independent nation. Native casualties are reported at 83% and, similar to Pakistan, the first governments persecute the natives to the point of small-scale genocide.
- September 30, 1950: [Minnysota]
Due to the civilian populace strongly disliking Pakistan's place in the United States, a war for independence is started when the request for succession is denied.- October 5, 1955: [Minnysota]
After five years of intense fighting throughout Pakistan, the United States withdraws. US casualties are high, as are Pakistani casualties, but independence is recognized. Hostilities between the two nations seem as if they- August 28, 1963: [Minnysota]
War between the United States and Pakistan breaks out again, resulting in a hastily set up blockade of Pakistan's shores. However, the initial invasion fails and artillery is able to knock out several US destroyers and cruisers for months at a time.- September 11, 1963: [Minnysota]
Less than a month after hostilities began, the war ends with light casualties for both sides. However, the war ends up being a morale victory for Pakistan despite their losing more men and equipment, as it shows their capability to beat back the US menace.- December 27, 1979: [Minnysota]
After 13 years of Pakistan and Afghanistan remaining free from foreign influence, a civil war in Afghanistan between native insurgents and French descendants prompts a Soviet invasion. The country is quickly overrun, and Pakistan heavily protests. However, no action is taken after the Soviets officially make Afghanistan part of the Soviet Union.- January 23, 1994: [Minnysota]
Afghanistan finally achieves independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union. The people in Kabul rejoice as the last of the Soviet forces that occupied the city leave. However, not all Soviet presence leaves, as the Russians maintain a base in northeast Afghanistan.- August 17, 1994: [Minnysota]
After a reconciling of Afghanistan and Pakistan is completed, the two begin talks about forming a union with one another. After less than a week of talks, the two nations merge into the Republic of Paix. With the combined cultures, economic, and military power of both nations, Paix becomes a major player in the region.- August 12, 1999: [Minnysota] Although the nation remains quite developed following the withdrawal of Soviet forces not long ago, a minority of the Islamic population attempts to overthrow the white majority and restore the lands to the natives. Three separate groups attempt to fulfill this task: Al Swaleez, Al Moussa, and the Taliban. Their offensive begins with an attack on the capital city, Belmont, which kills over one hundred. The Republic of Paix responds with a declaration of war on Al Swaleez, since they are the largest of the three groups.
- November 21, 1999: [Minnysota] After two months of fighting, three senior Al Moussa officials are killed along with seven militants along the Persian border. Immediately following this, special forces manage to infiltrate the Taliban and leak the positions of the high command. Utilizing this information, drone and jet strikes manage to cripple the Taliban over the course of a week.
- January 3, 2000: [Minnysota] The first significant confrontation of the Al Swaleez War occurs just thirty miles outside of Belmont. A combined force of Al Swaleez and Al Moussa forces converge on developed boroughs of the city in armed trucks. However, the battle ends after three days with only three civilian casualties. Almost the entire attacking force is repelled. Fourteen Paixan soldiers were killed in the battle, compared to two hundred thirty-three militants and seventeen trucks.
- December 31, 2000: [Minnysota] On New Year's Eve, the Paixan Army launches a devastating attack on the Taliban just north of Minneapolis. The mountains that the Taliban were hiding in no longer prove safe as helicopters, jets, and drones continually reveal their positions or force them out of hiding via precision strikes. The Paixan Army moves in and chases the Taliban north. An army from Pakistan moves in from the north as well and encircles the Taliban forces. Within three days, the Taliban officially surrenders, having suffered over three thousand casualties over December and January.
- April 23, 2002: [Minnysota] After a two year cool down in fighting, Al Moussa launches an offensive directed at Dayton. The attack is repelled with significant damage to the local highway, although little Paixan casualties are encountered. The future president of the Republic becomes a war hero after his squad is destroyed and he manages to hold off an approaching force of thirty plus men on his own. The battle ends with over six hundred militants dead and thousands more injured/captured, and only thirty-four Republican soldiers dead with two hundred injured. Following this attack, a drone strike eliminates the entirety of the Al Moussa leadership, ending the war against the faction by default as remaining militants fleet to Persia.
- August 1, 2002: [Minnysota] Following the defeat of Al Moussa, Al Swaleez begins to prepare for an offensive on Belmont once more, this time via infiltration. However, the government suspects that a new offensive is in the making after various recon missions. Special forces manage to infiltrate the groups and learn of the offensive, leaking those who will infiltrate the city. These men are arrested and the compounds that Al Swaleez personnel are hiding in are bombed by the new AQ-39B Clarion UCAV. Following this attack, Al Swaleez surrenders and agrees to leave the country.
- August 17, 2002: [Minnysota] The Al Swaleez, or Insurgent, War ends with a total Paixan victory. Three hundred forty Paixan soldiers are killed in combat, while well over six thousand militants are reported dead by the Paixian government. Al Moussa and the Taliban are completely destroyed by the fighting, with their little remaining followers retreating to other nations, and Al Swaleez publicly leaves the nation. The war becomes the first military victory for the Republic of Paix.
- November 4, 2011: [Minnysota] The Republic of Paix, already quite developed, completes the rebuilding of Afghanistan and the modernization of suburban settlements. English is still the more common language, but there are more ethnic French in the country. Resources, commerce, and technology are major industries that form the backbone of a strong, stable Paixan economy. Although the native populations suffered from displacement and genocide early on, Islam remains a sizable religion that about 6% of the population claims to be a member of. Persian militants have started to threaten Paix if they don't let them return to their base of operations in west Afghanistan. However, the first ethnically native president in Paixan history refuses and promises that he will not bend to their demands.
- November 6, 2011: [Minnysota] After surgical strikes against Al-Swaleez compounds, the Paixan Army crosses the border and seizes several border and coastal towns immediately. East Persia quickly falls to the Paixan invasion and the Paixan Army finds itself just miles from the remains of Tehran.
