• July 1, 1961: [Layarteb] After a successful fiscal year, the Umbrella Corporaton expands from medical equipment to cosmetics.
• April 8, 1964: [Layarteb] The Umbrella Corporation opens its pharmacheutical division, which will soon grow the Umbrella Corporation to become Layarteb's largest pharmacheutical company.
• August 8, 1970: [Layarteb] The Umbrella Corporaton partners with the Fourth Reich of North Germania and opens a research laboratory in the town of Treblinka in Poland.
• February 14, 1981: [Layarteb] In a secret meeting between the Emperor of Layarteb and the CEO of the Umbrella Corporation, the Empire of Layarteb begins a biological weapons and research program with the Umbrella Corporation using its facilities for the program. The deal is one of the Empire of Layarteb's largest secrets.
• December 1, 1992: [Layarteb] The Umbrella Corporation begins a special flu research program and centers it out of its Treblinka Facility, which also has a secret laboratory for the Empire of Layarteb's secret biological weapon's program.
• Year 1997: [Layarteb] The Umbrella Corporation begins to experiment with Avian flu or H5N1, which is considered a "global concern for pandemic."
• January 27, 2000: [Layarteb] During the late night, an industrial accident causes the lockdown of the Treblinka Facility. The accident is quickly cleaned up and the facility resumes operations after 10 days. At this time, the Treblinka Facility's secret laboratory is working on two projects for the Empire of Layarteb's secret biological weapon's program. The first is weaponizing H5N1 and the second is dubbed the "rage" pathogen, which is aimed specifically at the brain. The goal of the pathogen is to specifically attack certain portions of the brain to cause an individual to experience uncontrollable anger.
• February 27, 2000: [Layarteb] At 21:00 hours, local time, a second industrial accident at the Treblinka Facility causes a lockdown and a major alert.
• February 28, 2000: [Layarteb] After twenty-six hours, officials declare the Treblinka Facility irrecoverable.
• February 29, 2000: [Layarteb] Five hours after the Treblinka Facility is declared irrecoverable, a major explosion tears through the facility, incinerating it and its occupants. The cause is never determined but it is speculated that fuel storage for the facility ruptures and fumes are detonated due to an internal, electrical malfunction.
• May 19, 2000: [Layarteb] At an Umbrella Corporation research facility in Uppsala, Sweden, research resumes on the Empire of Layarteb's secret biological weapon's program.
• February 11, 2001: [Cotland, Layarteb] During a routine cleaning of one of the laboratories at the Umbrella Research Facility of Uppsala, a janitor becomes unknowingly infected with an engineered strain of H5N1. After a 10-day incubation period, this janitor becomes the first known case of the Cottish Flu Pandemic.
• February 13, 2001: [Cotland, Layarteb] Within 48-hours of infection, Patient 0 has unknowingly infected over 500 people in a Stockholm subway station.

This is in anticipation of my desire to re-write The Treblinka Affair, which will probably get ported into Sins of a Lunar Empire.

Lay, just realised that when I put my post-australia population down I meant to put population increase by, you've read it as that is my new population. Actual population needs to be 290,000,000.

I realize that some people may not be happy that I have used their players in my league. I was under the impression that users would rather have their players in a playable league rather than in a 'fictional league'. If you fall into this category and do not want me to include your national players just let me know and I will happily replace them.

So I've realized that even though I can fully justify and support 30,000 aircraft in my air force that such a number is completely unrealistic, even for my military. So I am planning to redo the air force. This will make every one of you heathens happy (probably). First thing's first, plotting all of my airfields in Google Earth. I've finished 295 so far and I still have to do the Western Republic and the provinces of Raef, Worros, and Ynoga.
