hey, anyone have any suggestions for a group of aircraft, (fighter, multi role fighters, cas, and bombers), that realistically wont break bank of a small Oceanic nation? I mean, in RL I can't afford legions of highly advanced stealth aircraft. Use Multi-Role Fighters, they are more versatile than aircraft with selected operations.

I think Cotland wins, I'll have to rp it but the 60 aircraft for 5 billion would probably be best. (Need a billion or so for fuel and munitions.) Also how big of a runway does it need?

Brazil (Espirto Santo) is open to all but rather than claim it I'm just going to claim some of its islands, Trindade and Martim Vaz instead and I'll RP for it in German Region's thread. It'll be linked.


As an aside, I am working out the specifics for my own Military Sealift Command and I expect to have around 218 ships in it, of which 100 are AK and AKR types many of which will be classified as "pre-positioning," a very spine-chilling concept (floating container and ro/ro ships operating the worlds' oceans loaded with cargo and what not ready to go at a moment's notice in case the US goes to war). These, like the RL USNS ones, will be manned by Marines as well, with orders to shoot the living shit out of anyone who comes alongside them. You may or may not have noticed but like the USN I don't actually operate "exclusion zones" around my vessels though I might start doing that but I love Freedom of the Seas so... Furthermore with this MSC that I'm adding I feel a need to mention that one or two of these will be "floating prison ships" for POWs and other high value targets we just don't want anyone to know we have.
