I'll post an update to that presumedly KIA thread I just opened eventually. I'm just really as fast as a slowpoke in most RPs I start.

[*]Klievan: Spreadsheet updated. It is also missing your government type, economy type, and whether or not you have a constituion. You can add the Hirgizstanian parts of Greece and the Sinai but as far as Rome's territories go you do not qualify having more than 550,000 mi² and six months. Please acknowledge before claims are updated.
Government type: Not sure exactly what you'd call it, possibly Federal Republic. Legislature exists but is very limited in power, the judicial and executive branches are strong, and most executive positions are appointed by the Chancellor.
Economy type: Mixed
Constitution: Exists (need to double check what the date was)

Also, I claimed Malta a little bit ago, but I haven't RPed taking it yet and I'll let you have it if you really want it, though it's kind of a skimpy starting position.
It's yours. I feel sorry for you and Kisia though, claiming just an island each, because when my Operation: Rubicon is done, I'll be the domininant power in the Mediterranean Sea...
Also I have Semester Finals this week, so don't expect much posting from me until Friday. Then Vergeltung and Rubicon are each getting a big post, and after that I have two week winter break so I can get a lot done then.

Arnhelm wrote:Lay, you said in your satellite shoot down post that any amateur astronomer would be able to see the debris falling back to Earth. If the wiki article is correct on the September 13, 1985 ASAT test then "It raised the possibility that the objects optical systems were detecting were large and dark, not small and bright as was generally assumed. This had implications for the calibration of optical and radar orbital debris detection systems."
This phenomena is due to the heat generated by the kinetic force of the kill-vehicle vaporizing the plastics on the satellite and the plastics then condensing on the bits of metal. Of course the amateur would possibly be able to see the impact of the kill vehicle.

USA 193 debris were recorded by astronomers as they fell back to Earth I don't know what this September 13 thing is.

that's a mighty impressive border there that basically inhibits everyone from moving through the Med expect some conflict, especially from my merchant ships going to Turkey.

is that how far out your borders extend? i thought it meant the total national coastline, in that case it's only 12 Nautical Miles,

An Economic Exclusion Zone might go out as far as 200 nautical miles. Territorial waters, on the other hand, is much closer. Territorial waters are basically your own territory where you can make laws and police and even shoot at trespassers and beyond that it's international waters. In E2 we don't have any UN so there are no limits to these things.
