only 5% join the military and it doesn't matter what they think but you don't want to go around cursing the emperor's name in public. Finium is carefully structured, the closer you get to the emperor and his palace the easier it is to live in relative comfort and similarly the farther away you get the harder it is. the adopted from of education for non-military middle and lower class is apprenticeship or they just inherit the family business so the reason we don't put much stock in education is that the people teach themselves what they need to know. As far as people not wanting to live here, some do and some don't, its all about their ability to survive. I you are strong then you become valuable and you can survive easily enough in relative comfort, in the colonies more so than the homeland.

In light of the recent developments of The Armed Republic Of Sans Frontieres:

As you all had may or may not know, The Fief of the Fiefdom of Sans Frontieres has passed on at 2 April 2011, approximately 03:48 am today in his house located in the capital city of Gran Ciudad. I, the former Head Councilor and now the Current Head of State of Sans Frontieres, Makarov Price, is announcing the renaming of our nation from the Fiefdom of Sans Frontieres to the Armed Republic of Sans Frontieres. We are also changing the Official Flag and Coat of Arms of our nation.

The Death of our Leader has brought us much despair but live must go on. We are now currently facing an incoming public outcry and we are humbly requesting that the Member Nations of the ULN to provide us with some Peacekeeping forces to help quell the riots. After which we would like to invite the ULN to attend the funeral of our beloved leader, Jack Carter, at the Cemetery of Honor in Chiå of Sans Frontieres.

We hope that this change does not effect any of our former relationships and wish for all the best for both our nation and the ULN.

I have also been empowered by President William Touchstone to speak on behalf of the Free Congress as well--I am deeply moved that the death of your leader, while a tragedy, has enabled a moment of peace in our country unprecedented in these last years. His death, I hope, is not in vain.

You can't be accepted. My military is always 2.5%, or 23,000,000 ish. Yours is 1/3 your population. Your military would have sticks and stones.
