" This here ( he kicked one of the two men ) is responsible for this. He is not high ranked, but he is still part of it. For that, as he attempted to run like a coward. I am going to give you two choices. I kill them, or you finish them off, like they did to your friends & family " shouted Andrew.

Pelorius had left the shop and he saw that something was going on at the square. He recognised Andrews and walked towards him "MilInt ?"

Pelorius drew his gun and wanted to shoot them both. He changed his mind at the last second "No.. we are better then this." He kicked one in the face. "What about taking these pieces of shit with us to the police station so they stand trial when the time is there ? He nodded to the civilians. Shall we let the executioner do it for us or make it quick ?"

As Pelorius asked the now gathering crowd, one of the MilInt men kneeled and was grabbing something in his pocket.
Seeing what he was doing, Andrew shot a bullet in his hand.

" No moving. " was all he said.

Pelorius kicked the man in his face. And then reached into his pocket. He got out a piece of paper and a badge. The badge was MilInt but the paper contained a list of names and phone numbers. Amongst which was van der Wijde.

"The main banker in this nation.. and for what Kruger told me. MilInt's number 1." Pelorius replied "Kruger knew that he wasn't going to get out alive so he asked me to take over in case something happened to him. I wasn't there back at the base for that specific reason."

" Coetzee got hit somewhere, Smuts in the shoulder. I'm going to go see them now, want to tagg along ? " asked Andrew.

Pelorius turned to the people. "Do with them what you like. They are small fish." He turned to a soldier "If they tear them apart.. let them have their revenge."
He started walking towards the Medical Centre.

Pelorius slowed his pace and walked alongside Maxime for a moment "Whatever you do.. don't turn the around and ignore the sounds. You don't want to see it as it will haunt you for the rest of your life." He turned to Andrews "Has he seen the massacre ? There is psychological counselling available if need be..."

" There is no need for counselling. If you made it law that in this case everyone present had to go through it, you would have thousands of applicants. " said Andrew.

Maxime just remained silent, obviously shocked from what had happened.

Pelorus sighed "I still haven't had the chance to look for family but I may have been fortunate with the fact that I am not from this region. Originally that is."
He looked at a shop where someone lowered the flag half-mast. "Still.. we got them, MilInt that is. They seem to be running for the army all over the island."

They walked into the Medical Centre. And they approached a nurse that was clearly overworked "I am looking a Police Constable P. Coetzee" Pelorius said. She nearly snapped at him "We have so many people here at the moment !" "Ma'dam. I recommend you to look for him. If you're not up to par I'll do it for you." Pelorius showed his badge.

Pelorius checked the register: "Found him. Lung shot. He is the operating theatre. This could take hours." He put the register back on the counter "Thank you for your help." He said to the nurse and he wasn't being sarcastic.

"He seems to be down the hall where they keep the lightly wounded." Pelorius started walking. In a room he saw a man in the bed. His face grey and his eyes focussed on the television. It was Smuts.
