Pik calls up his father. "Smuts" His father sounds like he is hurried.
"Hello, dad, It's Pik here..say Andrews is a bit worried here about the ceremony. What is being done to protect Group 66 from publicity ?"
His father seems to check a couple of papers. "He doesn't need to worry. He is listed here as Major-General Andrews of the Fourth Globexian Army. There is a uniform waiting for him. How well can he play the role of a senior officer ?"

Pik looks at Andrews. "You may want to have a word with him..." He hands him the phone.

Andrew took the phone, answering the last question given by Smuts to Pik.

"Yes, I can do that. In the G.N.F I am myself ranked along the lines of a Four Star General, to keep the outer eyes of the population closed. I have a standard uniform used by Globexanter when it comes to ceremonies, it isn't much different than the one used in active duty really..." said Andrews.

"We don't have your official uniform. However we could obtain one from your Army for.. ceremonial use, so to speak. I don't think that you need to worry about your job at all. You will be picked up and escorted by agents of C-Buro at all times.. just to keep the general public away from you. You are simply too popular. Right... when you arrive here you will be escorted to the official State Hotel which is not too far from Grootpunt, at the coast, the ceremony will be tomorrow at 11 and of course you will be picked up and brought back. All expenses are at the cost of the Free Tristanian government so considers this a luxury trip for you and Maxime. You deserved one.." Smuts voice was calm.

"A total of three days. You have an additional day to rest. There will be a formal banquet tomorrow night at 8 - which will be held at Parliament House with senior officers of the Globexian and Free Tristanian armed forces, members of the cabinet and other people that have received medals for their efforts made during the Revolution. So the third day would be a day which you can use as you like and you will be brought home. There are provisions made for Maxime in case you would not like him to attend the banquet and the ceremony."

Some politician back home on both sides of our Nations is probably sweating over that, attempting to find the answers for it." chuckled Andrews.

I haven't met so I wouldn't know. But what for I have seen there are signs that the ceremony will be used as a front for a summit between politicians from Free Tristania and Globexanter. The fine details of it all are only known to the higher echelons of C-Buro and of course those involved. I am not even sure whether the King himself has been informed." On the other side there was the sound of Smuts browsing through the list. "Does Maxime have more formal clothes as well ? Or should we put that on the list ? We have his size, you know..?"

"Lieutenant-Colonial Wellesley? Never heard of him, is he some time of Free Tristanian officer transfered to the G.N.F.? And, unless the details that I am representing the 4th Army of the United Kingdom of Globexanter have gone out, it might need to be modified: in the GNF itself I am actually situated within the First Army, the place where they shove all the Special Forces and the Groupe 66 next to these." he added.

"It was done for a reason. Here children wear school uniforms when going to school so they measured him in preparation for supplying him with one.

I have no idea who the Lieutenant-Colonel is, only that he served as an LNO when the Marines landed at Grootpunt. And when it comes to the details around 4rd Army. It was mentioned here in a report that it said 4rd. Your name was mentioned in a Marine report so it could be that a hasty mistake has been made but it can be rectified. " Smuts replied.

"It depends on what middle school Maxime will be in... I have heard that there was a private school outside Rapperswil. But normally students here receive a polo shirt or button-up shirt, a set of trousers, a blazer, if a button-up shirt and tie are worn, and a hat. Shoes are also provided. At least in my days that was the case. Same goes for Pik.

When it comes to the Lieutenant-Colonel I have no idea what or who he is apart from what I just told you."

"That sounds good enough, the hat can go and he has some shoes and a polo shirt. Can't he just wear it with no school initials or badges, I'm sure that would suffice for now. I might have to ask that Lt. Colonel some questions of that type." he added.

"That shouldn't be a problem. However when he is wearing it he can be linked to a school anyway. The colours are distinct but without markings it can be used for formal settings. You will meet him tomorrow. For what I know he is setting next to you at the dinner table."

"Everything has been provided. You will be taken to the official State Hotel, which is used for foreign dignitaries, which will be close to Grootpunt. There is a secluded beach, possibilities to dive into the caves or coral reefs, marina and some more interesting services over there so you will be well looked after."
