The Major drank his whiskey and smiled. "Let's hope that you will indeed not become the hunted..."

At the house Sarah was walking into the room while Maxime was waking up. "Morning sleepyhead.. I hope you slept well ? Come.. I'll make your bath."

Sarah took him downstairs to the baths where she told him how it worked. "First you take a shower and soap yourself in properly. And after you washed it all off you can take a bath and relax while I make your breakfast." The baths were a big communal bath that was sunk into the wooden floor that offered a view into the side garden and up to the mountains as the blinds had been pulled up, the warm water was filtered and came from a hot spring.. several miles away.

Maxime simply nodded, taking a quick shower and applying soap to his body, then relaxing in the half full bath of slightly warm water, having found most of the options too warm for his liking.

At the house, Maxime quickly finished his bath, drying himself and putting his clothes back on and emptying the bath at the same time by pulling the plug. Then, after a quick ten seconds of looking around, he found the kitchen.

"Good to hear that. Are you feeling a bit at home here now ?" she said while she checked his hand. "Ah that's going quick now.. it's almost healed again."

"Ah that should be alright. Maybe you should ask Pik whether he can take you to the National Park.... there is a river with waterfalls in that area and it is safe for swimming." Sarah said. "He can take new plasters with him so you don't need to worry about getting your hand wet."

"Well, when the Leave starts I can either opt to keep on 'working' for a bit more, that would increase my final leave time. But then I am permitted to stay in any Nation Globexanter has a peculiar Alliance or Treaty with, when no VISAs are required. So yeah, I could get up to a year of leave or less due to my past spent small leaves." he answered.

"No... if the King would die it would be his wife or the oldest child to take over. In both cases there would be a Queen. This was one of the first nations to get rid of Salic Law for what I know. Well.. if they would give you the high-end job you would end up in a suit anyway.. or in a uniform."

"Yeah, that's going to happen. I've met the P.M. of Globexanter at a public addressing once, he was literally just wearing jeans and a simple tee-shirt. It was televised live to Globexanter, that is one of the reasons why he was voted in: he is laid back and knows how to relax and fit in with the Public." said Andrews.

"People here generally retire at the age of 70. Apart from military personnel and those involved in manual labour. They go much earlier.. in their 50s. But yes.. those in office generally don't take the time to relax. If they are not working their heads still are." The Major said. "For me.. retirement would be coming up in 5 years unless I would end up working as a Staff Officer."

"Your dad just cleared some caves out." Pik said who had put his paperwork on the table. "He probably would be coming home soon or he is having a chat with some of the officers."
