This has been shown many times.

Size won't do much. I use a fraction of my nation in the military right now. All of us combined could use less than 1% of our nation in the military and still outnumber your military.

Did I mention it was previously 204 million in the case of the Eslovatia-Chyek war? Now our pop is even higher, and economy even better to support a larger force.

Size matters very little where military conflict is concerned, simply because it is strategy that wins wars. For example, it is quite feasible that a five mil pop. nation with a 300,000 strong military could defeat a 105 mil pop. nation with a 3,000,000 strong military, with the right tactics and strategy. It is do-able.

In this case, numbers are next to useless, seeing as Valencian military, as has been said, is cutting back on it's size and is instead looking to it's technological ability. This has several positive effects. Firstly, it creates more unemployed, who can then become employed, thus boosting the economy. Secondly, those former soldiers will make an excellent minuteman-type militia or guerrila movement. And thirdly, expenses on those soldiers disappear, taking some strain off the defence budget.

Yes, we could storm Valencian beaches with soldiers, pepper his airspace with fighter craft, and create tidal waves in his oceans with the sheer amount of ships, but it would not make a blind bit of difference if he makes all the right moves.

Size for the Valencian military never truly mattered because of our tactics.

Also, I doubt that it's anywhere NEAR possible to come near our colonies, let alone our homeland. We recently had 9,656 ships, but cut down to about 6,400, and the rest are in reserve, sitting in ports doing nothing.

EDIT: How else do you think we've fought 26 wars and won them all?

Yes, technology and strategy are the two biggest factors in war, IMO. I am a good strategist though :p

We had a naval conflict in a civil war that resulted in a very short battle because I was withdrawing my forces as soon as the first nuke was launched, which was about 20 minutes into the fight. Again, I declared war on him but it was ignored due to at least 30 of the 40 people on my team being godmodders and n00bz.

I dont consider the Unicario civil war to of been a Valencian event. After August 2010 is when I changed a bit, and I just want to get rid of my past before August.

I see. Weird system indeed. Who supplies these things? What stops the suppliers from simply taking what they want and no longer supplying? It seems heavily flawed but I'm sure there's some other factor I don't see.

Ah, I see. Propaganda is a powerful tool. I'm surprised you've won so many wars in that case, as it seems to me that there is a very simple way to defeat you. I guess either people didn't pick up on it or they just didn't succeed. Probably the latter.

Gaining air superiority over you gains a victory immediately then. It gives us the ability to chuck some of our older aircraft at you after air superiority is taken and then bomb the hell out of your key resource stations. It is similar to my tactic of defeating China.

1) I doubt carrier based planes can even fly that far without being shot down by out colonial defenses.
2) Our planes are among the most advanced in the world, and they number well over 9,000 in our air force.

Not carrier planes, just occupying islands with suitable space for airfields that are close to your nation or within range of striking major supply plants. Again, I have around 6,000 aircraft in my air force, so just two of us combined could outnumber your aircraft. I doubt that more than 4 or 5 thousand of your aircraft are combat aircraft anyway.

All of the planes in the AIR FORCE are combat planes. Non-combat planes are UCPV owned.

There are 4 island within 640 miles of my nation, and they are all colonies. 640 miles away is the Chyeknovostan Republic, and over 1,000 miles to the east is other nations I dont feel like mapping

Then bases will be set up in Chyeck (who is one of my friends/allies) and then we could simply occupy the furthest colony from you and proceed with an island hopping campaign.

I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, your isolationism and self-sufficiency is simultaneously your biggest weakness and biggest strength. Fundamentally, all it would take to topple that military might is several precision strikes against key economic installations.

Now, since Mordegradian military doctrine is based almost entirely around aerial operations, we would have little problem in doing this. I mean, over half our naval fleet is made up of aircraft supercarriers for God sake (which, I should mention, used to carry MiG-29Ks but we have since shifted to F-35Cs). And in fact, I should also mention, we are also currently working on an ultracarrier design.

Over 9,000 aircraft, supposedly the most advanced in the world? Along with over 9,000 ships? Don't you think that's a little unrealistic? What about logistics? They cannot ALL be combat planes, surely?

"simply" conquer a colony? Do you know that nearly 60% of my military is in my colonies?

@Morde

No money=no economy, so what can you possibly hit with an airstrike? It's just about impossible to fly a plane within our airspace which is 500 miles. Not at all unrealistic; remember, no money?

Then that makes the overall invasion of Valencia that much easier. Eventually, your colonies WILL be overwhelmed, there is nothing you can do to stop that.

I am still iffy on the no money thing. You should run that by an economist to see if that would work, I'll contact Yohannes.

I'm not talking about money though, and you do in fact still have an economy, it just isn't currency-based. What I'm talking about is strikes against production facilities; you're building a lot of stuff inside the borders of your own nation, as well as in your colonies. All we would have to do is neutralise this 'internalised production' thing you have going, and bam, victory at last.
