Therymain Planet
The planet of M-34 was a rich mining world, it making up for almost all of the Therymian Kingdom's mineral gathering. It also was host to one of the kingdoms orbit and planetary shipyards, the planet encircled by the massive orbital docks and in the capital of Durzo, large grey structures, filled with the various classes of the fleet, dominated the military sector. Ships docked here when the orbital ones were full, or if they were in need of repairs.
This planet had long drawn the attention of the Mertians, however it wasn't until the Mertians received some help that Operation Duskfall was put into effect....

3rd Fleet
The normally empty, quiet and dark space was filled with bright light as the 3rd Fleet exited warp speed and entered the space. Ten Imperial IV-class ships entered the space, their dominating form making up for most of the fleet. Following them were four Crusader-class's as well as six Valiant-class carriers. This fleet was tasked with the job of taking M-34 and severely crippling the Kingdom of Therymia.
In charge of the fleet was Admiral Karen Taylor, an experienced fighter pilot and squad leader. She was promoted to Admiral by Chief Jane Austey and was recently given her own ship, the MSS Pearl of Light a Imperial IV-class, and her own fleet. The ten Imperial-IV's were gifts from the Tierran Empire, a result of a treaty recently signed between them and Mertia, as well as some minerals. With the new ships, Chief Austey had decided to finally make a move on M-34. Mertia had already captured the sister planet, M-24, last week, albiet with heavy losses. Two Braveheart's were destroyed, the only ones Mertia had. Their loss was a significant one for the Mertian Fleet, as they lacked the ability to produce new ones. However, the ten new ships from the Tierrans made up for this. It was time for Therymia to fall, and fall it would if M-34 fell into Mertian hands
Admiral Taylor looked out from the bridge of her vessel. It felt weird, being in charge of all the ship and fighters attached to it. Normally, she was one of the many and numerous pilots attached to such a ship like this. Yet now, instead of commanding a squad of small fighters, she was in command of the 3rd Fleet. She sighed a sigh of relief and tucked on the hems of her uniform, straightening it. She walked over to her XO " Steve, give the command. All ships jump into Warp and arrive at M-34. They can open fire at will on any enemy ships they see or find. Once they complete the annihilation of the all enemy ships, alert me so we can begin the capture of the planet" Steve gave her a crisp salute before heading over to comms to relay orders. With in seconds, about one minute actually, the space was once again filled with bright blue light and the fleet slipped back into warp, headed towards the planet.
Within the hour, the space outside of M-34 was filled with flashes of light as the ten large Imperial-IV-class ships arrived, followed by smaller flashes from the Crusader-class's and other ships of the fleet. As soon as they arrived, the phaser arrays on the ships opened fire, and laser fire from the Imperial IV's poured onto the orbital shipyards and Therymian ships. The small fighters and docked vessels were taken by surprise. With in minutes, all were destroyed and the shipyards were a burning wreck. On the Pearl of Light, Karen was smiling at her small victory. She motioned to the comms officer " Give out new orders. All ships move in for planetary bombardment, target high value installations, such as military bases and cities. Deploy fighters and form a blockade around the planet. Nothing gets in and nothing gets out. Start deploying the Army to take the planet" Minutes after she gave the orders, K-35 fighters were streaming from the fleet to form a blockade and provide air support to troops on planet. DH-77 Pelicans streamed from ships as well as LAATs headed towards the planet, transporting twenty thousand troops,tanks and artillery onto the planet. The troops made headfall near the city of Lergia, now decimated from orbital bombardment. They quickly set up base there and then proceeded onwards. The conquest of M-34 had begun
