For the first type in years, A hammer & sickle flag was raised next to the nazi enartio flag. Many looked out to the sight confused at it, The ITU pact was opening for every totalitarian country to join despite if its communist or fascist or both. Nazis and communist started dancing in cheer as old Enartioan folksongs and marches started playing, Many people waited for the appointed leader of ITU to say the opening speech to make the pact official. He walked out to the mass, who were waving nazi flags and soviet flags, he began speaking to the people.

Us fascist, must unite with our communist brothers, despite bad history and war. For us communist and nazis must take a stand to make sure Totalitarianism never dies out by the hand of democracy, This pact also means that members who have joined will open there ports up to the opposite side, and all embargo's on that country must be lifted, I wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year.

The man then walked off from the stage, while diplomats from the country went in to the building, waiting for communist & nazi countrys to come and join the pact.

President Valentine sat quietly sipping coffee deep in the bunker complex which now served as the seat of government after the attack on the capital of Ardenhal. After two weeks she still wasn't used to it and probably never would be. As she drank she watched with growing alarm as these fascists and communists celebrated their new "union" or whatever it was.

A man's voice came from behind the president. It was Capt Jake Rawlings of the Minuteman Spec Ops team. "You worried, ma'am?"

President Valentine wasn't startled by his silent approach. The young man was never far from her. Especially after the recent attacks. She had grown accustomed to knowing that he was near yet rarely being able to see or hear him. She answered after taking another sip of the piping hot liquid. "No, Jake. I'm not. And why?" She grinned inwardly as she answered her own question. "Because no matter how inspiring their rhetoric or how progressive their treaty, fascists and communists simply cannot coexist."

Her words didn't comfort the Captain. He'd fought through four wars in 2 years and expected trouble at every turn. Who knows what would come of this "union". Maybe they'll blow each other to hell so we won't have to worry about them...

Arcadia was now watching the situation closely...
