[The United Voice]

The United Voice, a self proclamed land of freedom, has had a growing slave industry which was recently nationalized by the government. The new conditions under which the slaves had to live has incited a strong tension between slaves and their keepers.
Leading up to the mass rebellion many slaves and slave activists have attempted to free the slaves via peacefull means. Although many if not all of these attempts were 100% peacefull all activists were executed via the spanish donkey. Many of the slaves and activists executed was a case of mistaken identity. Every foreigner inhabiting The United Voice.
Yesterday a synchronized uprising has led to more deaths. A large amount of foreign and homegrown slaves were killed on the front lines while others were murdered in their sleep.
To make examples for all willing to rebel the TUSS (The Unition Secret Service) snuck into many slave houses thhat remained peacefull and captured all children. The slave children captive in The United Voice are scheduled to be pubically executed tommorow via their parents placing the children upon the spanish donkey. Afterwards the parents are shot.

A WASO coordinator was in their office at about 2:15 in the morning, trying to be alert to any incoming calls. Of course though, they were asleep. A call on the phone shocked them up, and they picked up the phone without even checking the ID. "H-Hello? This is WASO Action Directory, do you have something to report...? Oh, it's you. You're the WASO spy in United Voice, right? What's going on... uh huh... yeah... oh, geez. 'kay, I'll talk to a rescue sergeant right away."

WASO's finely oiled system was running fast, and within the hour, they had a "trading" ship loaded to go to the United Voice port.
They started the engine of the ship quickly, and they were on their way. Soon, they were already within sight of the land.

Well, another slave state who is angered when there oppressed serfs rebel has moved towards murder and execution. I must say, your methods are terribly bland. The least you could do is make the deaths more interesting to read about. One. You are to free your slaves and halt executions. Two, you are to issue a mass apology to the families of those killed. Three, you are to scrap the current upper echelons of government and hold new elections. Four, you must offer housing and resources for released slaves.

My name is Mireille Lévesque, and I am President of the French Union, a nation which is a good deal larger, and considerably more powerful than yourselves, in case you had not yet managed to notice. I am also, unfortunately for you, a strong advocate for abolition and for sentient rights.

I give you five hours to release all the slaves and children scheduled for execution to the custody of the French Union, Maylassi, Ceannairceach, or any other of the countries moving its forces and national political will against your nation. 6. A fifth of your nations land is given to Orlkjestad.
7. The United Voice's Military will be disbanded, and will not be given back until the year 2111.

We will give you 24 hours to perform these actions. If these conditions are not met, war will be declared, and your nation will be invaded/turned into plate glass. Following that, we will annex The United Voice into our nation.

Excellent, as though dealing with slavers wasn't enough we must now contend with the leaders of the RBI and Orlkjestad flailing about making unjust demands to show how "powerful" they are. Disgusting. The one nation seeks to provoke bloodshed with unjust demands for money and power, and the other's just going to impale people.

Know this. France is now seeking agreements with the leaders of TUV which will, if they succeed, involve the temporary demobilization of the local military forces, and the garrisoning by French troops of TUV territory whilst a transition from slavery is enacted.

I however refuse to totally abolish slavory. I will still condemm major criminals to government work camps and the such. P.S. The spanish donkey is a simple device consisiting of a sharp triangular prism mounted a decent amount of feet in the air. The victim has large weights strapped to their ankles. The victims are then straddled over the triangular prism. The weights then pulls the victim down severing them in half starting at pelvis ending at the cranium.

Several ships were gathered in Mektar Harbor - large, low structures, longer and wider than most other nations' ships of comparable capacity, covered by a rounded top designed to collect solar power, like so many giant black turtle shells shimmering in the fiery oranges and blood red of the sunset. Several others with recesses under the shell-like tops in which were hidden anti-ship weapons, and turrets spaced regularly on the shells, anti-air cannons and SAM batteries, drifted slowly into position, an escort around the cargo-transports, which were all heavily armored but unarmed. The entire group moved out of the harbor and onto the open ocean, departing on their voyage to rescue and return with up to 150,000 slaves if need be, so that they might live their lives as free men and women in Mektar.

Upon hearing of the new message from his aide, Ixian once again turned from his view overlooking the harbor. It was a step, allowing current slaves the opportunity to to escape, but that did not change the fact that The United Voice would still keep other slaves, a practice seen as barbaric by Mektarans.
