Decidence: Nation Killer (OPEN MT)

Postby Decidence » Tue Dec 21, 2010 2:41 am

Global News (2009) :

(The News appears on the T.V. and a reporter is now speaking) "The Empire of Decidence has now become a destructive nation. Withe their superior military, they have destroyed three nations that had never had any connections with Decidence. The reasoning is because they seem to want to destroy what they call "infidels". What they consider infidels are people who do not believe in what the Empire of Decidence call the father land. We have yet to confirm what the father land is. They are ravaging through cities killing innocents and brutally murdering them with intense mutilation. We ha-(Static)-ca-"(The screen goes all static. Then a well dressed young man appears on the television) "Hello? Is this thing working? It is? Ah, good... Hello world! I am Emperor Tiberius of the Decidence Empire. I want those who oppose me or the father land. I also want those who respect our father land and or me and nation. I want those who oppose, to be dead soaking in the blood of infidels. I want those who respect, to join me in my efforts to spread the influence of the father land. oh, and in the time that people of the world are realizing what is happening, a small fraction of my army has taken another City and is wating for a... a challenger so to say. They will be waiting in a large city, it's compact, and it's full of really tall buildings. It's also rainy. it's surrounded by land with no large water masses any where to be found. There is lush forest to the west. There is only one major road into the city. That is weird for a large city, but what are you gonna do? Anyways hope someone answers the call to war. See you in hell!.... Oh and... FOR THE FATHER LAND!!!" (The T.V. goes back to the news) "What the hell was that!"

Could you please elaborate on the purpose of this RP. Are we all to have the same equipment or are all those pictures of yours.

Foreign Minister Karakov was...unprepared for meeting Artorrios o SouthWoods, the Chairbear of the Bears Armed Mission to the WA . Karakov, seeing the ursine delegate for the first time, mistook him for an actual bear. So he did what any person would do when confronted with a bear in the middle of an international meeting; he tried to shoot him.

Lucky for all of us, Karakov is a lousy shot.

I'm dealing with it at the moment... :/

Response I got from Decidence when I asked that same question, now I'm asking about the pics.

((OOC: I'll bite. BTW, I'm not even going to go into the issues with your choice of equipment... it all varies so much, it'd be a nightmare supplying all of it.))

Iron Province, the GWO

The recent sudden invasion across Eastern Europe by the Decidence "Empire" was worrying, to say the least. Marquess (though he went by the Germanic title "Markgraf" instead) Wilhelm Krieger himself wasn't worried, of course- he had faced down the Allaneans, far fiercer foes, better than even Michael Nason of Magna Polis was able to, which was perhaps the main reason why he had been promoted from Count to Marquess, now in charge of all of GWO Europe. The common person, however?

By now, the Civilian Militia was already increasing training intervals to every weekend.

"Their military maximum is... 1,300,000 soldiers, sir. That's about, hmm, four sixths of the total organized firepower this Province has? I am including the Volontari, sir," stated a Brigadier General to Markgraf Krieger. Krieger looked over the holomap in his Provincial Military Command Center.

"I think this new would-be tyrant is giving me a chance to show the Spire, and the world, the lethality of our nation's State Volontaris when properly backed by Federal assets. If I'm wrong, the Spire will come in, and we'll suffer minimally. Notify the Spire that we wish to mobilize Federal forces for preemptive military action, and that we'll be deploying Volontaris to hold them off in the mean time. Call them up, General."

One month later

The 12th European Volontari Division was moving fast. The bulk of Federal forces were at least a week behind, having begun mobilization much earlier. This was, of course, the first time in GWO history that a notable offensive war had been started solely by a State Volontari, but should it go successfully, certainly not the last.

The GWO's Volontaris, perhaps the least-credited soldiers of the nation. Even corporate "security contractors" (who were really just mercenaries) were better known. Volontaris were only marginally underneath the capabilities of Federal troops; however, considering the comparison, they were easily capable of dispatching most enemy forces. The 12th itself was a Mechanized Infantry Division. It wasn't alone, of course. Behind it was the 8th, a Motorized Infantry Division with complete anti-air capabilities to cover the 12th, and finally the 5th Air Cavalry. Federal forces had also pitched in, with the 16th Marine Armored Division coming in from a different angle, and two Air Force Fighter Wings were going to be providing air superiority.

But wait, where were they going? They were going towards the "emperor's" newest prized city, the one he had challenged someone to take back. Why? Because it'd deliver a righteous fist into his face as what equated to the US National Guard wiped out his grand army. Overhead, several EA-18G Growlers inaudibly shot towards the city, jammers in full operation. The enemy was to be made blind and deaf for this attack.

Volontaris, no matter what state, lacked in artillery and air capability, and their naval aspect was nonexistant. Federal artillery was still weeks away. The entire operation looked pretty damned shoddy, but Krieger was hellbent on executing it in a dangerous gesture of "sass" towards the Spire. It would prove his state wasn't so reliant on the national government... of course, it still would be, considering the hordes of Allaneans in Western Germany, but it'd certainly be noticed, and Krieger would have more leverage in his later bid for Chancellor of the GWO, presuming an unfortunate accident would befall Heinrich Slaag.

The Volontari forces, except for the 5th Divison, which was coming via a direct Western route, were coming in from the Southwest, while the Federal Marine Corps forces came from the Northwest. They would rendezvous in the middle of the city before moving as one to wipe out whatever was left after their two-pronged assault... or, perhaps, the plan would change on the way, considering how often GWO commanders like to change their mind, and how often they pull it off -perfectly-.
