I think there are a number of left-wing alliances (some communistic others anarchist) - but you'll know far better than I. Whether any of them are suitable I'm not sure.

You could always keep an eye on who participates in The Second May Day War on the side of communism and ask (once they're finished with that rp of course) if they'd like to form a more permanent Cold War style bloc against which you could arraign yourselves. Alternatively, one of them may be a member of an aforementioned league.

Oh well. No great loss, I s'ppose.

Well, since it can't really be finished without him...i had an idea for a civil war in my nation. The story of Crontor is that is was an American colony who rebelled and formed a sovereign nation of the continent known as New America. The nation, originally called New America, soon faced a separatist movement in the east, as the provinces east of the pale desert felt that they did not belong in this new nation. They launched a rebellion, ultimately splitting the continent into three nations, the Federation of Crontor, and the Republics of Sebelli and Dutris (further detail in my factbook under history). Many wars have been fought amongst the three, and the unstable governments of both Sebelli and Dutris (think afghanistan) have let numerous rebel groups of all varieties thrive in the lawless western parts of those two nations, alonside the border with Crontor.

There are numerous groups, representing all ideologies, i have actually been writing a book (i do that type of stuff for fun) about this whole war, and how all the different alliances are getting set to team up on Crontor.

Crontor can beat them, but it will be a tough fight, as they use guerilla tactics and most of the rebel groups operate heavy weapons, due to weapons deals with the republican governments...anyone think it could be interesting, and people would actually rp?

Our nations government is very small, operates at a minimum. Its consists of a small executive Central Government is controlled by the Von Amerikan Wehrmacht (Military) under command of Generalfeldmarschall Armin Meisterkampf who is considered the Reichsminister and C-in-C of both the nation and its military and is incumbant for life. The Head of State for foreign diplomatic affairs is Generaloberst Staatskanzler (State Chancellor) Mathias Olig with Gerd Ahrweiler as the chief of the Foreign Ministry. Only Pre-selected Volkstag candidates (by the Central Government) are elected officials by the people, however neither the Volkstag nor the People's High Courts (Volksgerichtshof) can remove/impeach the Reichsminister, only the Military has the power to relieve the Reichsminister. The military has the high influence in Von Amerika's Government. Though the Volkstag passes bills and laws, the Reichsminister must approve of veto them after a review with the members of the Central Governement (Reichsminister, Cabinet, Senior Military Officials). Certain Government Departments are privatized, notably the Von Amerikan Post- VAP Corp. (Postal service)
