If you are referring to the current situation in Agadar: there is no open warfare yet.

I wasn't aware that there was going to be. I thought you wanted the RP to be more about politics then war?

The roleplay is indeed supposed to be primarily a political roleplay, however the situation is so tense that I cannot exclude open (civil) warfare. Not that I'm steering towards it, but I'm not excluding it either. In fact, the biggest factor that will decide what direction the roleplay will go to is senator Mysetis' final decision. Depending on who she will have the Quendians support will greatly influence everything.

Is there a thread already or is it still only in planning? Also, the thing I outlined earlier where I will join the fray with a puppet as well as my main nation will, of course, only happen should there be open warfare with the Quendi going against the Pact.

Fell, first off, as members of The Pact you're obliged to give aid to your brother nations in times of need. Just how much aid you gve is up to you. Perhaps your reason for joining could be that the Agadarians appealed to you directly? I dunno, just a thought...

Summary of what has happened so far:

Martin Daronius killed Sebastian Ordenia, who was the former chancellor and his brother, as well as Ordenia's entire cabinet and took over control of the Grand Republic. Since then some minor things have happened. One senator betrayed the other, another found his way to a large resistance movement preparing itself to take back Agadar, and some other stuff. Right now a Quendian senator named Mysetis is on a diplomatic mission here in Agadar, and she is about to find out something which may directly influence the Steel Pact.

Right then, I guess Ill make a post tomorrow basically saying the Imperial government noticed that there is something going on in Agadar , and decide to keep an eye on stuff in case the situation escalates. That okay?

For purely IC reasons the Steel Pact is not to get involved unless chancellor Daronius can't handle the situation anymore. This is because IC, the Grand Republic's membership of the Steel Pact is a national secret due to the imperialistic and dictatorial themes associated with this organization.

I would get involved now (or rather just watch, would pretty much be announcing I'll get involved later; a IC post serving as a tag, basically) on the basis that I am allied with the Quendi. Or should I just wait until the rest of the Pact moves in as well?

I am not aware of the history between you and La Imperium, but I doubt the Quendians would consider a Steel Pact member their ally regardless of history.

1) Mysetis will astrive to ensure a peaceful solution as long as she believe that a military one will damage quendi interests in the region

2) A note on grammar. Quendian is not a correct demonym. It is alwas just Quendi. A Quendi, the Quendi, more Quendi, all Quendi. To not completely confuse people I however usually add an "s" when in plural but it is never quendian.

3) About quendi-aquilinian relations it is true that a person like Mysetis is not differentiating between Aquilinia and other Steel Pact states but Mysetis is only one of many leaders of the Quendi and to the Imperial House of Alcedina blood ties between Aquilinia and the blood line of Sundavaer will make war unthinkable.
3b) about the relative strength of Mysetis and the Imperial House of Alcedina the former is the result of the idea that every pressure creates a counter pressure and Mysetis has grown consistently in power since before Cirthyi where she controlled five senators till after the Quendisphere Crisis where she controls 41.

Thanks for the info. But what if the Steel Pact and the Quendi support different factions? Then what will you do, Aquilinia?

As I said earlier, I would fight on both sides. The Aquiline Guard (as in, my army) will support the Pact, while the remnants of the revolutionary White Army (communists) will fight alongside the Quendi. However, direct conflict between my forces and that of teh Quendi will be avoided whatsoever.
