I wish I had more RP samples from this new forum. I had quite a few good ones from Jolt. But anyway, when it comes to the positions that have been appointed, I can offer my services as an advisor. I have spent years either RPing war or discussing it OOCly with some of the true heavies from regions across NS, such as Haven, Nova, Greater D, etc.

As for the Civil War that has just broken out, I will stay out of the threa initially for OOC reasons- I want to see who chooses what so I can jump in and support one of the 'lesser' factions.

Also this is going to decide whether Cartavesqa stays an empire, becomes a communist state, becomes a democracy or becomes a military police state. See the flags

I wouldn't worry about the images for now. They are the least important parts(except for the map, that is important) of any post.

The fact that everyone is supporting the empire is making it hard for me to find reasons to support anyone else unless I have a reason to dislike the Empire. HM doesn't care about political ideology, so we can't use that as a reason to support anyone. I'm just worried that there won't be much point to HM participation.XD

Thats because only WERTA Nations have gotten involved so far. Its pretty late at night, so not everyone is currently on. WERTA Nations are actually required to support the empire by law. See the WERTA Legislation thread. But The CCC and DCF will probably go down in the RP pretty quick and it will probably just be Xiao-Lang and Empire. If you get bored of it feel free to live the thread.

Oh no, you misinterpret my problem very slightly: I know that WERTA nations would back you up. So would HM unless I have an IC reason not to. That reason would almost certainly have to be religious. And if I don't have that reason, I foresee the majority of nations that joining supporting the Empire since Xiao-Lang does not have enough characterization as an area to work as a nation. IE; why support the breakaway province with no cause and no IC reason?
That is mostly the issue. Unless I have an IC reason to support Xiao-Lang, I can't. And the Empire will already have the vast majority of support.

I don't think the Communist Forces will go down quick if Vortim get's involved on their behalf but, by law as you said he must support the empire

I actually like the idea, it makes it more canon, more realistic, and gives us more of a reason to fight. We mainly have to stop Xiao-Yang though. If the Communist Cartavesqa Coalition or The Democratic Cartavesqa fighters win, they intend to remain in WERTA.
