my job is working with a old family friend, who works as a contractor/carpenter to help make a house accessible for someone who with special needs

As number 2 in WERTA I would expect you to do the following:
-become an official ally of Cartavesqa
-Make an embassy in Cartavesqa

You don't have to but i would recommend it. This goes for all WERTA Nations, you can never have enough allies.
