Since the war with the Polish was won, the Maxedonians had stepped up security in the place where the most crime happens, the Maxedonian Protectorate of Trache. Then, insurgent planes from the "Applause" network ambushed Aezeth and killed 535 people . Applause is based in Trache, a large island off the coast of Maxedon. Since the incident, The Emperor is considering annexing the small island and the tiny islands around it.
"FIRE!" The artilleryman said to the weapons officer said as 5 MLRS rockets shot off from the launcher to the "Applause" gang's stronghold during a gang meeting. BOOM! One rocket hit dead center. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! The others smashed into the convoy of terrorists guarding them. The cocaine and poppy fields were burning, and the soldiers celebrating because it was the last poppy field in Maxedon used for drugs.
Over Eastern Trache, near the Capital
Fifteen A-10's, five AH-64D's, seven AC-130's and twenty F-22's screamed towards the target. Their target was the major terror center called "Al Faji" or "Al Fajil Fajil Al Fajil" By Maxedonians. The base housed 22,000 terror agents outside of Ternet. The A-10's fired the opening shots by the Longbows firing Hellfire AT missiles at the frontal AAA and SAM defenses. Then, A-10's fired on the airfields and armories causing major damage. But things took a bad turn. Fifteen SU-30MK's and Fifteen SU-150's arrived on the scene and destroyed three of the helicopters and 2 AC-130's in a surprise missile strike. The F-22's were outnumbered 1 to 2. Then, as if in a movie, ten F/A-37's destroyed seven of the MK's in one strike and tore against the rest of them while the F-22's took care of the 12 remaining 150's.
While this was happening, the AC-130's, A-10's and AH-64's were blowing the base away unopposed. By the end of the battle, the base was in ashes. The Maxedonians had lost 7 aircraft and the insurgents lost 30 in air-to-air combat and 20 on the ground. It was a major blow to the air force and army of Applause, but their navy was still a threat.
46,000 Maxedonian soldiers started the land invasion of Trache, mostly unopposed until they reached within 50 miles of the other coast, where the insurgents are based and set up a republic, Applaucia.
