An Unusual Meeting (FT, Closed)

[Tierra Prime]

A large Green storm would begin to form over an unknown world. Eventually it would grow massive, as a Ship, the Imperial-IV Class Star Destroyer Anubis - a 1,600 meter long Battleship - would explode from it, finally causing it to disappear. Streaks of Green Lighting would race down the Shield of the Ship, a trait unique to the use of a Quantum Gate.

As the Ship would begin to approach the Planet, it's Bridge would be a flurry of activity as reports where given and systems where checked. Suddenly, in another part of the Ship, the Bridge Lieutenant, Dimitri Fedorov, would walk into room of the Ships Captain, Alexander Tenkov.

"Captain, we have arrived in the System! Proceeding towards the Planet as you ordered!"

"Thank you, Lieutenant! Maintain present coarse"

"Aye, Sir!

The Ship would continue to move towards the Planet, thinking it was unoccupied. It wasn't however, and the Tierrans would soon meet it's owners.

Icarus hive
The scorched planet was dotted with goliath craters. These craters were 15 and sixteen miles in diameter. Each one had a completely flat bottom covered in red dust and small pebbles. From each of these craters a two mile tall spire emerged. It resembled that of a mountain with crevices and ridges. But this craft was different it was alive it pulsed with golden light. From it’s rocky skin several large antenna poked out. Fifty of these ships had appeared on the planets surface. The largest was ten miles in length from nose to engines. A simple spearhead shape dotted with towers and turrets. The fleet lifted from the planet in a flaming cloud and into the stars. The craters sealed up and sat silent again.
The ships hailed the visitors.

This is Captain Alexander Denkov of the Imperial-IV Class Star Destroyer Anubis, i represent the Galactic Empire of Tierra Prime. We mean you no harm, and are simply here on a Exploration mission, we did not know this Planet was already occupied.
