The Rising Tide (MT)

Postby New Korean Union » Thu Dec 16, 2010 9:46 am

Tyumenskaya, Former Area Known As Russia,
Dec. 20th, 2010,
2:45AM

Mobs of people formed in the town square of Tyumenskaya. Almost 100 percent of which were Korean soldiers, heavily dressed and sitting in the blistering cold. The "liberation" of Tyva province by the Korean Forces brought much celebration to the Union, and Chairman Kim Jong-On was set to give a speech any minute now. Times like these were when morale needed to be at an all time high, and what better way to do it than to issue a wonderous speech toward the hard working soldiers of Korea. The Chairman rose up to the podium, situated on the 13th floor of the Svetyla Hotel, facing the entire town. Chairman Jong-On cleared his throat, his rosy cheeks and large dimples illuminated by a spotlight across the street.

"First of all, I would like to express my great pleasure of meeting you, our brave soldiers here Tyumenskaya, tonight in the wake of our victory in this vast province. Our long-cherished hope to expand our ever-growing honorable Union is at last a reality thanks to your hard work and particular care. Allow me to express my thanks to you Comrade General Secretary Yoo Sung for leading your elite troop of brave men and women.

Our profound thanks also goes to the generous and glorious politicians in the localities for having warmly received us and accorded us general hospitality despite the unfortunate violence that commenced.

My visit has provided all Russian nationals with an opportunity to get familiar with peculiar and diverse aspects of the Juche-Socialist Korean Union, and hope for social, cultural and various other fields of exchange in the near future. We were deeply impressed by the shining achievements made by those who supported our cause. Warm hospitality accorded to us by Russian comrades in various locations and every other place we placed under our wing as new members to our union. The progress made in the northern parts of Russia which has undergone a rapid change and the stirring reality of this land, in particular, deeply impressed us.

Still fresh in my memory is my visit to Tovlorsky five years ago that has changed beyond recognition. Touring various special economic zones making a great contribution to the Juche-Socialist modernization drive with Russian characteristics, we were more deeply moved by the people’s enterprising and persevering efforts and fruits born by them.

In a word, my visit to the various sectors of Russia has a rosier future thanks to the correct line and policies advanced by the Juche-Socialist Korean Union.

The astonishing changes that have taken place in this vast land have been possible because the Russians laid down arms and policies to suit the specific conditions of the Union, such as the “construction of a harmonious socialist society” and powerfully encouraged the people in their efforts to materialize them.

We assure your people that membership in the union will be most prosperous, and a bright future lay ahead."

With that, thunderous roars echoed throughout the small town, as every soldier cheered and cried out the Chairmans name in victory. No matter how bitter the weather was, Kim Jong-On knew now that his soldiers could overcome anything, and expansion into Asia/Europe was now a very real possibility. In the coming months the dictator had planned total control over Mongolia, Eastern-Russia, Japan, and the pacific islands to the south. A new empire would be formed, and the Korean people could live in power and prosparity. However, the Chairman and his people were blind to the growing Korean resentment sweeping accross Asia and Eastern Europe.

OOC: Basically, this is an RP in which my nation begins to expand its reach all over Asia and Eastern Europe. TG me with any suggestions on how I can get others involved if you so wish. Thanks :)

The Bear and the Crane

Moscow - The Russian Federation
2010 - Dec. 20th

If Korea so thought that Russia; the second most powerful military force on Earth was going to lay down to their pathetic excuse of a nation? Oh how they had another thing coming. Siberia was an isolated area; cities existed as did bases of military prowess and tactical positioning. The people there were of a different caliber, roughened by nature and prepared by the brutality of Winter; Russia's greatest ally.

Like the Germans, like the French. The Koreans had chosen the most inopportune time to invade the Federation; the Siberian or Russian Winter was famous the world over for being the harshest on Earth; second only to Antarctica itself. And these invaders thought more that Russia would accept this? This mongering imperialism from a failed state? Hardly.

The columns of T-80U Black Eagle MBT's and legions of the Russian Army suited for winter mobilised on instinct; Korea was unstable, led by a headcase who was mentally retarded if he thought the Russian People would 'join his revolution' The Russians INVENTED the Revolution! The Soviet Union was the pinnacle of the Revolution for many years and they, the successors would not bow to this retarded version of Communism! Least of all now that Russia was finally stable and as powerful as it once was.

Above the crowds of the loyal, above the rising walls of the Kremlin upon the balcony stood Dimitri Yulianov, President of Russia. "Russia stands on the edge of invasion! Not by the expected; but by the unexpected! The Koreans expect us, the Russian People to bow meekly and join their so called revolution! They expect us; those who defeated the Golden Horde when no other could; to bow! They expect the ones who toppled Nazi Germany, who fought off the French Empire single handedly; to bow!"

"They expect these miracles as come from Heaven itself. But Russia is not mandated by Heaven like the Middle Kingdom! We do not bow! The Russian People fear no adversary, we are afraid of none! And we will when necessary go to war to defend what is ours!" The President spoke boldly and with power and conviction. "The Russian Federation does not meekly submit! We do not cow to the will of the weak! The controlled! Let Korea's Armies come! Let them come and face the Wrath of the Bear! Russia; Let us show these fools what it is to go to war! There will be no peace until Pyongyang burns!"

The crowds below cheered a bellowing agreement and the infantrymen and the tanks advanced, and the fleets prepared and the Bear marched onto war; on it's own soil for the first time in over seventy years.

Meanwhile in Eastern Europe
Kyiv - The Communist Republic of The Ukraine
Dec. 20th, 2010

The Ukrainian Premier walked swiftly down the halls of the Primarchal Palace in Kyiv, million dollar heels clicking as she did so. She would not deny that the Koreans had brass; and quite a bit but sucicide was not something that was to be admired. Commu-Socialist though they were; Ukraine was treaty-bound to the invaded Russian Federation; word of law did not go far with ideology but as a woman of her word the Ukrainians would indeed support the Moscovites for another time in their joint history.

"Send a missive to Moscow; inform the President that we stand with Russia." She spoke to one of the many aides that trailed her in a small contingent; one nodded and peeled off. "Send a message to Korea and try and dissuade them from slaughtering themselves." She spoke again and another aide peeled off.

"Finally; send a message to the General of the Red Army and prepare the navy for combat! Ukraine rides to war!"

From: Premier of The Ukrainian Republic - Anastasija Romanenko
Subject: Ukrainian Support - Invasion of Russia - Treaty of Odessa enacted

Mister President; Russia stands on the edge of invasion; Korean soldiers have entered your soverign territory and already your people will be oppressed beneath the distorted mutant version of Socialism that the Koreans call their own. The Ukraine stands with the Russian Federation until the last man and rocket; under no circumstances will we allow Russia to fall.

We may disagree; our politics may differ; but the Russians and Ukrainians are bound by more than just politics. The same slavic blood runs through our veins, the same ancestry do we call our own. May God if he is real; stand with the Russians as we do.

Your sister and ally,
Anastasija Romanenko - Premier of The Ukraine

To: Chairman Kim Jong-On of the Korean Union
From: Premier of The Communist Republic of The Ukraine
Subject: A Fool's Move

You are a craven fool; mired in your own inadequacy and this time your mistake will cost you dearly. The Russian Federation is mighty and strong; while Korea is small and weak. Many stand with Russia; none stand with Korea. If there is a God; he will not side with such fools who would betray their own people to death, which you have done many years before the coming of this war.

The Ukrainian Red Army and Navy stand with the Russian Federation; we will unto the last man and rocket fight for our brothers. Ideology holds no bars for us, blood is thicker than water.

May Korea Burn,
Anastasija Romanenko - Premier of The Ukrainian Republic

Ukraine

Across the Republic forces armed themselves, a process usually slow was now hastened by the fact that already the enemy was on soverign slavic soil; though the Russians had more than once turned their blades on the Ukrainians, the Ukrainians themselves would not abandon them to suffering and death at the hands of the pyschologically unstable; the insane.

Arms and armor was secured from the many army bases across The Ukraine and the few ships of the Ukrainian People's Navy geared themselves for war. The Coming Storm would be met with opposition; from rifles, from bayonets, from bare hands; Korea would not have victory against such a combined onslaught.
