"Sam's about School age now" Martha said "I think we'll send him in the next school year."

"All that being said, I am following Kalia's advice. Sam, you need to ease into boyhood activity. Maybe concentrate on getting out of bed and moving around the house this week.

Then next week, go outside and play gently such as tossing a ball with dear old dad after he gets off work.

After that, try something a little more challenging, like going for a swim.

And then in the fourth week go to a rec center and challenge a climbing wall. Make it to the top, and by golly, you'll be a normal boy." Cara said.

"Despite what ever series of challenges you three settle on, the fact remains you should ease into conventional boyhood activity, or you might hurt yourself trying to tackle more than what your body's prepared for." Tajen clarified for everyone's benefit.

Sara woke up, put her arms around her daddy, and went right back to sleep.

"Always good to hear. Meanwhile, young Sam is going to be an average boy after he works his way into it. Ahh, but Arnold and his wife have that covered, important thing is, he's cured, and your Minister's been charged by Omnisource directly with the task of finding the cure. That is, a better more viable one that can be used on a wider basis than Cara and I's talent." Tajen said.

"At some point today, he's gonna get a "Big Scroll O' Notes" from Xos concerning things." Tajen said.

"But you know how medicene goes. The effort to cure one thing has often lead to cures for several other things as well. Especially if he's allowed to study those Nanites Kalia gave." Cara said helpfully.

"I Know what you mean," Arnold said to Cara "like in our quest to find a cure for HIV we found ones for Polio, ebola and Hemophillia."

"Follow me then, We'll be seeing the Biology Labs and the Medical Equiptment development area, all co run by the Ministry of Scientific Development. The rest of the ministry is paperwork and infection studies" Arnold said "With a Dab of consumable substance testing thrown in"

Back then this place had top of the range equiptment and they used it, and the government pharmacuticals Plant to cheaply produce the cure for smallpox" Arnold said as they walked down a corridor, containment rooms either side of them. "Each of these rooms are deadlock sealed, to prevent even the slightest whiff of a disease getting out"

"The Mechanics Lab," Arnold said, leading them into a room that looked like a cross between a garage and a laboraroty "Just Last November we perfected the Artificial Heart, and it fits inside the body"
He Pointed to an object in a cabinate, it wasn't shaped like a heart but the mechanics and design of it easily gave it's purpose
"That's it there" He said "We're taking that to the International Medical Advences Convention in Munich in February"

"Artificial limbs are quite an achivement. Now what's the fairy doing?" Tajen asked, indicating a small glowing 6 inch woman lugging a three foot wide scroll that was very thick, and very heavy. She'd appeared by magic as Arnold finished his explanation.

She dropped it and collapsed in exaustion, her tiny body breathing heavily.

"That's.....the.....last....time....I....Volunteer....for....Xos." She said in a squaky voice between breaths.

She sat up not noticing anyone.

"Gotta find Minister Arnold." She gasped, determined to find him.

"Big Scroll O' Notes" was printed on the wax seal of the scroll.
